The hotel is only two blocks from the La Crosse Center, walkable to many stores and restaurants downtown. It is on the corner of two very busy streets so there is quite a bit of city/road noise. The interior is almost done being completely remodeled which meant very strong smells from the new carpet in the hallways. In the room, the smell wasn’t as strong. The room was clean, good breakfast, and we had a great check in experience and any staff we talked to were very welcoming and nice. Definitely will return when back in the area.

The facilities were good but when the shower knob/lever can't stay in place and turns the water temperature super hot in the middle of bathing, it becomes quite a burden covered in soap. Some things seemed outdated otherwise it was an accepted short stay. The breakfast did make up for it as it was hot, fresh, and enough to have my fill.

There was work being done and all the equipment and materials were left in lobby area near breakfast and other gathering space- it should have been stored elsewhere , was there entire stay, and an elevator wasn’t working properly

Hotel was clean and in great condition. My only complaint is in regards to the climate control for the room. The temperature was very warm and there wasn’t an option to turn down the thermostat and cool off the room since it’s cold outside. This made for difficult sleeping conditions with the room being anywhere from 75 to 80°.

Great location! Some remodeling was being done here, but it didn't take away from the overall great atmosphere of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and gave great suggestions about what to do in the area!

We were very impressed by this property. Very clean, very spacious (in both the room & the lobby/shared space). Staff was uber friendly! I came down to the lobby in the evening to do some stitching & have a glass of wine while my husband watched football in the room, & the staff very willingly offered to turn on the lights in the breakfast area for me to stitch in. Location wonderful -- lots of restaurants in walking area, & property just off main road.

Disappointing requested adjoining rooms when arrived rooms were not ready were told we could not have adjoining rooms but would be next door to each other when we came back to check in our rooms were at opposite ends of the hall when we came to spend time with family, very very disappointing!!!!!!

Pool area is small. Hotel front desk staff didn't know much about the area when I asked about nearby attractions. Free breakfast was great; many options for all appetites. Room was clean; a little loud being right next to popular bridge for vehicles. Parking was easy and convenient.
