We love staying at the Fairmont Chicago. It's quiet and comfortable and a great location. We stayed on the Gold floor, which had renovated, spacious rooms as well as access to the lounge with complimentary breakfast, snacks, water, soft drinks and desserts. Cocktails were available for an additional cost. Will return again in the future.

Great location. The room was very clean and quiet. It did get warm in the room. We opened the window to cool it off as it did not seem like the AC was working-only the fan.
The lobby bar was not open in the evening and the coffee options in the morning were poor. Restaurant had traditional hours, so if you are looking to eat/drink at off hours (i.e before 5pm), there are very limited options at the hotel.
Would recommend if you plan on being out of the hotel most the time. If you plan on spending time and eating at the hotel this might not be the best option.

Hotel and staff were top notch. Location was walking distance to food and sights. Room was a little noisy but nothing intolerable. One suggestion would be a night light for the bathroom.

Front desk staff were absolutely rude if and when even available at all. I felt like a burden. There was also some group there that took over the place? We couldn’t use any of the facilities because of this group.

The property and area are all great.
The staff are all approachable and accompdating.
The only thing is I do hope the room have some free bathroom complimentaries like slippers, toothbrush, cotton buds.But in total all are excellent.

Wonderful stay. They made a mistake and brought me room service and when they realized it wasn’t meant for us they called and apologize and said enjoy. Staff is nice and the view was amazing. I’ll stay here again soon.
