The hotel is physically beautiful. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit small for two people to use. In addition, the noise from outside was bothersome. Also, the dining options in the hotel were limited and extremely expensive. A basic breakfast, for example, of two eggs with the typical accoutrements was $33.

The property is very beautiful, Eric in the coffee shop does amazing holding it down by himself.
The extra $33 a day fee is a lot if you aren’t using the amenities. The hot tub is ages 5 and up so filled with kids.

This hotel is beautiful, but their staff is lacking in every way. The restaurants open and close based on who feels like working and when .
If your traveling -: everyone there is ..you need consistency with meals. And ability to eat when it's convenient for you. Not the staff.
For thousands of dollars, this was lacking.

Super experience throughout. Staff was very helpful and attentive, and everything was clean and appealing. Olympic Bar is a great experience for a drink or a meal. If I had any complaints, finding bottled water and coffee before 6 AM is challenging, both in the hotel and in the surrounding area. But that can feel planned around if you know in advance.

I was so excited to stay in my first Fairmont hotel. The building itself is beautiful, full of amazing architecture, marble and woodwork. The staff was amazing as was Shuckers, we ate there 3 nights in a row due to great food and convenience. On the downside, the minibar was never restocked between guests so we were charged quite a bit of money for things we did not drink. Additionally, the previous guest left items in the fridge which were not sanitary. A few interactions with the front desk got things sorted and the charges were removed. The rooms themselves are a bit worn, but comfortable (the bed was great!). Thank you!

This is a good hotel. The common areas are quite grand and lovely, particularly the lobby and dining room. The rooms themselves could use a refresh. The staff is warm and gracious.
Location is excellent with easy walking distance to attractions and the light rail. We were a bit surprised that room service dishes out in the hall were not retrieved promptly. But overall we had a very nice stay.
