We had a great stay. Great property. We took advantage of bicycle rental, banana boat rides, and outdoor exercise classes. Food and drink prices are very high but that was what I anticipated. Family of three with a teen son.

If you like Vegas, this felt like Vegas on the beach! The pools were very busy. We spent most of the time on the beach though. Great staff on the beach that helped set up chairs for us each day we were out there. Beach chairs are included in the stay which was nice. Be prepared for an additional charge for an umbrella though if you want one.

I would LOVE to give this stay a 5/5 because that is what I was expecting and hope I can get next time we go but I just would like to share our experience.. when we checked in we were given room keys to THREE different rooms- all whom we walked in on dirty and with luggage. It felt very invasive and unsafe considering that we had access to other rooms without their knowing. Thankfully the rooms had safe but makes you think who could get into your room without knowing. They did compensate us but it did leave us questioning our safety and piece of mind. The space was clean and service was friendly. We will be back due to all the amenities I just hope they can figure out the management of rooms and accessibility. I will say the room we finally got into still wasn’t all the way clean and had trash left over. The beds were comfy but overall for the price we expected much more luxury and cleanliness.

My guests and I really liked the access to several restaurants in the hotel and the walkable restaurants outside of the hotel. The only con was our last two days, some of the staff were pretty rude/had bad customer service when it came to answering simple questions. I get it was hot out and you’re trying to close up the beach/ pool area but they acted as if they couldn’t be bothered with us. I would like to shout out the staff in the Chez Bon Bon cafe! Any time we visited they were very friendly and helpful; 5 stars for them!

Property was in excellent condition. The employees were not friendly and questioned my integrity. Booked a room with ocean view. Room was overlooking the top of a building. I upgraded my room to a balcony room. Went to main desk to receive new room key. The room was not clean. Spoke with main desk. Was told to go to desk in the Tresor building to receive new room and key. I asked if the guy knew or would I have to come to main desk. Was told he knew. Went to desk and I was told my name was not on the room or in system for the first room I booked. How would I receive the key. If I’m not in the system. That was very unprofessional. With a line full of people. Still had to walk all the way back to main building to speak with VIP to receive room. For it to be a high end hotel. The communication is horrible.

Everything here came at a cost. Daily resort fees, parking fees, crazy food & beverage prices. At one point, I was refused free coffee this morning from the cart bc it was for "special coffee for apecial guests." It was maddening. The bay view side of Chelsea Tower is noisy with traffic, valet, police, fights, nightclub music, etc. I didn't feel like a guest at all. Mind you, we are from Vegas and know customer service. We have money. The staff did their jobs and were ok. The resort just seemed pay to play and uninterested unless you had your wallet open. Valet is like $75 a day and no public parking? I hate Miami. I'll never be back and I'll never go to a Fontainebleau property again.

Tresor tower elevators were under repair? Waited 30 min on our departure day (Friday) for a ride down. During our stay it was 10 min wait each way. Ridiculous.
