Four Points by Sheraton Asheville Downtown

Great place, clean and friendly staff!

A Disappointing and Unsafe Stay We recently stayed at Four points by Sheraton in downtown Asheville and unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that security was a major issue. The parking lot was dimly lit, with several cars that looked like they had someone living in them. There were people walking around the lot looking in vehicles when we arrived. The hotel itself was in terrible condition. The lobby was decently clean and the check in was assisted by a nice host but her station wasn’t complete and we had to slide over and use the other lines card reader . The lady said she wish they would fix it but seemed like no one would. Surprised a major chain dosnt have a swap it program for it type issues like that. Our host assigned us room 113 . We took the elevator down to our floor which was at ground level . The kids made the comment we went down to the dungeon . The bottom floor was either extremely bad maintenance or was in some form of renovation or refit. Honestly I could tell where renovations started and what had been done as the drywall work that seemed to had been completed looked unprofessional and incomplete. Half the hall had no carpet and just plywood . The carpet leading to our room was not attached to the floor which was unlevel and badly stained . It also looked as if no vacuuming had taking place on this floor with visible trash and grime all over. The room it self seemed at least pi

Nice, clean room with friendly staff. Everything was working in the room though there were cracks in the tiles in the bathroom. There was maintenance work going on in the lobby and the grounds but that didn't get in our way. Didn't try the restaurant because there are so many excellent restaurants nearby.

This property is my go-to when I stay in downtown Asheville. The location is perfect!

Upon check in I was told that room 313 was the last one ever rented out due to a sold out condition and a broken closet door. I'm perfectly OK with that and don't care at all. However, room 313 smelled the worst hotel room ive ever stayed in. Like a 20 year old cigar lounge + burnt rubber. I've stayed hundreds of nights in hotels globally, many not "Great" but this is the first time ive left a really bad review. Hotel staff: Please do something about the incredible small in room 313 before renting it to someone else.

Great location. Our room had a bad stench from the heater. We didn’t run it and were able to deal with it.

Lots oh homeless

There was a toilet plunger in a bag outside our room. The room was not cleaned as i found pens in the sofa seats. It smelled like someone smoked and then sprayed bleachto cover it up.

Visited a month after TS Helene came thru Asheville. I think the hotel is doing remarkably well for resolution it. I found it very convenient to downtown with plentiful parking. Hope to visit again when the situation has normalized in Asheville. Thank you for the hospitality!

We stayed at this hotel the week of the hurricane. The staff went above and beyond with what they had to work with when the lights and water went out. Under a very stressful situation they were extremely accommodating. The room was clean and neat and would stay here again. Jamie in the bar was fantastic.

Our stay was good. Bert convenient to downtown-Asheville. Friendly staff.

Just a few blocks to walk to the main downtown area.

Negative was there are not enough electrical sockets and room is dark. The positive is the rooms are spacious, beds comfortable and they allow dogs. The location is perfect for walking downtown. We have stayed there before and will again. The free coffee in the a.m. is good too and there is a restaurant right in the building.

Charged me a pet fee for my support animal and wouldn't take it off. Tv was some sort of rigged situation.

Wouldn't stay here again.

Very affordable stay in downtown Asheville with easy access to everything, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.
