Really enjoyed our stay at the Golden Gate. Easy access to Fremont. Great casino for gambling choices. We had three rooms, so they upgraded one, which made it great for a place for our group to hang out.

Had a great time, staff was helpful; let us check in early with minimal delays. Front desk and team was very responsive for all requests. Bit noisy, but for the time we spent in our room it was a minimal issue for us. Hotel was clean and location to Fremont was great, small casino so we got through it and into the activities of the Fremont experience quick and efficiently for our new years stay.

We checked in Christmas Day and we were greeted by professionals. Our room was ready and we were able to check in within 10 minutes. John was very helpful. He was very polite and very professional. He let us know about some good restaurants to get good food. He told us of the best places to hang out. EachTime he greeted us with a smile. If he was coming from his break he took time to stop to make sure everything was okay for us. The housekeepers were on point. They made sure our room was clean and fresh everyday. They made sure we had fresh towels everyday. You don't get that in most hotels. We would definitely definitely stay at the Golden gate

Wr had some minor inconveniences. Our room was too hot, it was right above the noisy casino. The amenities listed aren't actually inside the hotel, but on "sister" properties, which we found very inconvenient. The price was better than other hotels in th4 area, but not THAT much better for the inconveniences.

Wi fi inaccessible in my room. Received double speak explanation from staff. Utterly ridiculous. Other than that, stay was pretty ok. Room small but understandable classic first oldest hotel in Las Vegas. Sign on corner bar says rat pack hung out at bar. I thought that was cool.

It is a great location. The Casino is really smokie and you get charged a resort fee but there are no amenities. Bathrooms are old and drain slowly.

Don't the recommend staying multiple days due to the loudness in the rooms. Oldest hotel and is awesome to experience but rooms are small and loud. Definitely don't stay if you can't sleep with noise.

When I arrived my roommates name had been taken off reservation. When finally got in room there was dirty underwear on floor, Worst of all the street noise was so loud you could not sleep. Awful.

The front desk folks were very nice. The hotel is OLD and eventhough they gave me an interior room, the music was thumping all night. The price was 75$ including resort fee. If you can handle the noisy night and old rooms..it's the cheapest place in downtown. I left in the middle of the night. It is nostalgic for sure. This hotel has the oldest rooms in Vegas which is pretty cool.
