Loved how clean the room and bedding was. Hard to find these days! Room was a bit smaller than expected, and older. But very well taken care of still

I liked everything the property was great.

The best deal around,walking distance to everything and very convenient.

For our 10th anniversary it was bad. But we can expect month from the golden gate.

Have never been disappointed staying at the Golden Gate.

Staff is very friendly, they also have a small lively casino downstairs just outside from Fremont St. The room was compact but perfect for a solo traveler. Will stay here again 100%

Great service, quick check in, parking was easy and convenient.

Pay the money-stay else where. We reserved a standard room queen bed. We received a shoe closet with a twin bed. For a couple this was far less than ideal. AC didn't work. Which since we had two adults in a twin the lack of AC was a particular insult. We had to keep fanning the room by opening and closing the door rapidly. The tv received one channel-ESPN. After a day of travel watching football reruns and sports news shows was not my ideal. The shower had two choices, scalding or ice cold. At least we could cool off in the shower if we could stand in it for longer than 30 seconds. When we brought this to the hotel staffs attention I was told "We don't assign rooms until you check in. And we'll make sure to send maintenance in the morning to address your concerns." Great, we check out in the morning. I'm so glad they can fix the AC for the next guest and leave us miserable. And all of this mess cost us 87$ for this show closet and a 45$ for a resort charge. The word is simple stay somewhere else. The staff, minus Erica at the desk,was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. To say they didn't care about us or our issue would be under selling their response. They couldn't have shown they didn't care any more clearly. In the morning when we re-raised our issues my spouse was told I smiled and was excited to stay in a twin. As a 49 year old man that loves his spouse I can tell you I had no excitement to cram onto a twin bed with my partner. The managment they suck

Fun hotel fun bartenders fun dealers the dancers are great the people at the front desk are awesome the room itself was okay my air conditioner didn't work that well so it was a little hot overheated but it was close to Fremont right on Fremont Street so it was perfect and I'm really have to stay in the room anyway thank you for everything and happy anniversary Boyd.

Great little place to stay. Nothing fancy but the staff was nice and the casino was very vibrant with a lot of energy. Just walk out and you’re in Freemont which is cool.

I didn’t expect the hotel to be so Old . Having second thought of transferring to a better hotel, I had a hard time using the toilet I don’t know if I’m gonna set with the toilet bowl or what . The room has no window to open just a structure cannot be open

The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. I will not stay there ever again due to three things: 1) no outlets in the bathroom 2) no coffee maker in the room 3) ridiculous resort fees for absolutely nothing.

Wall was coming off and bathroom was old. Soap was poor quality. But we really enjoyed our stay there and staff was nice.

Overall the staff and experience were great but I must say I might as well have been trying to sleep on Fremont street, it was so noisy in my room. My hotel room was bumping from the noise outside until they shut it down at 2am.

Great except for a leak forced a room change.

Upon my check in, I was not allowed to bring my golf travel bag with me to my room. Staff informed me that it was in their hotel policy online in their website. No such information was found online regarding golf travel bags. I was told that it was oversized, oversized bags were not allowed in the room for safety purposes. Not happy to be informed of this upon my arrival. If this was made clear to me online when i registered, i would not have stayed there. Rather sour taste in my mouth because of this practice.
