The hotel is connected to several restaurants and a coffee shop that are not owned by Hyatt. However, the smell of food from these establishments is quite strong—it travels from the lobby all the way up to the 28th floor, where my room is. While the scent isn’t exactly unpleasant, it’s not particularly pleasant either. Valet parking is quite expensive, but the staff are very friendly and professional. We were glad we chose to use the hotel’s valet service. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient—almost everything you’d want to visit is within walking distance.

Housekeeping staff was amazing. They did a wonderful job and always cleaned my room when asked. Housekeeping made my trip wonderful. I can’t say enough about them. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful! Great location!! Was perfect location for the convention center!

Plus: ckeck in service was excellent.
Con: extremely overpriced for the experience and amenities! Marble bathroom and heavy doors apparently account for the cost. One lounge chair and fouton, but the desk chIr was on rollers but was fixed height. Had to search for a coffee maker and lift it out onto the table to use. No breakfast unless you pay for Elite status! Limited but very pricey food - Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and a Hot Pot place. Fortunately a NYC Deli offered an assortment of breakfast, lunch and dinner hour sandwiches. The pool was in another location a block away and may have had an additional charge. I know from experience there are better and less expensive hotels closer to the waterfront.
Do not recommend this Grand Hyatt!

Weak shower, can barely rinse my shampoo. Asked for room service, called front desk to confirm and even had them call me back, but still came back with messy room.

very clean, friendly staff ,walkable to everything .only didn't like the coffee machine in our room was hidden in cabinet we didn't know we can make our coffee or tea in our room till last day we found out .they should have sign or leave it somewhere on the counter so the guests will know about it .

The only issue I had was out heater was not very functional, the room would get warm just for a couple of minutes. I had to keep adjusting the temp.

The only unfortunate incident we had was the concierge telling us that we should eat a steakhouse up the street, rather than the one in this hotel. It was extremely expensive, and quite terrible all round. When we did eat at the steakhouse in this restaurant, it was excellent. Best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time.

I was a bit unsure of the area from looking at the maps but the hotel was centrally located just a few minutes from Pike Place Market as well as other places to eat etc. Close access to monorail to Seattle Center for space needle visit. Walkable distance to both Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park however Uber and public transportation readily available.
