This might have been one of the cleanest Hampton Inns I've ever stayed at. Staff was friendly and happy to give recommendations on what to do in the area. Overall felt safe. Breakfast was hot and fresh. 24 Hour coffee and tea bar is excellent. Zero complaints!

I was upset that I got a handi capped room and the only. I didn't order it so i was questioning when i checked in and the guy at the desk just said, sorry, I don't assign the rooms. It's like he really gave a damn! My first negative experience here and I don't want to make a stink out of it so i just kept the room. I suppose because i booked it on Expedia they really didn't care about me. I don't usually use 3rd parties but I've been sick and I just wanted to get it booked and sometime it's a hassle to get the same price, etc. I wish you didn't have to use the 3rd parties booker's ~ they really don't help you look better.

We were very comfortable and appreciated the cleanliness of our room. It was convenient to get to Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge to see the Sandhill Cranes and to Great Sand Dunes National Park. The breakfast buffet was above average. Highly recommend and will stay here again when I visit this area.

Room was smelly from some spray to cover pet odor.
The hotel setting was great with a backdrop of the Sanger de Cristo mountains but many of the windows had moisture in between the panes and you could not see anything clearly.

We were originally booked into the neighboring Holiday Inn Express, but their pool was under repair and they allowed us to cancel our prepaid reservation. Hampton Inn had a room at a decent rate and the pool and hot tub were available. Room was large, beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, and quiet. The breakfast was the standard eggs, potatoes, and sausage.
Very nice overall and would stay there again.

Toilet was broken. TV was a nightmare to use and find channels. While they do offer a hot breakfast, the eggs were gross and tasteless.
