Hampton Inn and Suites Shreveport/Bossier City Airline Drive

It was awesome. Wonderful staff, service and accommodations. Great for us and our two dogs. Sammy Lee was especially terrific, and helpful, to make sure we had a great stay!

I placed a reservation with the Hampton Inn and suites on Viking Dr. in Bossier City LA for 5/19/25to5/21/25. I flew in from out state.. after getting my rental car drove to the Hampton Inn and suites where I had my reservations it was around 9 PM to check in. The lady at the front desk for check-in told me oh we’re sorry we had to canceled your room. Expedia should’ve called you but will have your room for tomorrow..the same lady told me next day “ you are a gold member with us so always book thur hotel only so this won’t happen again” . that told me a lot about this hotel.. the next morning I spoke with the general manager, Jackie Thompson and she told me that she was refunding my night through Expedia the room that they had to cancel on me well that’s two weeks later and she never did it. She lied to me.. I just spoke with Expedia. She never ever put in for expedia refund so be very careful with Hampton inn n suites.. actually to be safe I would find a different hotel…

It was a large wad of hair on one of the pillows that was in the middle of the pillows on one of the beds. Im not sure how housekeeping missed that unless they didnt change the pillow cases at all. There were also pieces of hair scattered in the bed as well. The room had water damage in the ceiling/wall. The room was old. The air did work and it was comfortable, but the overall cleanliness was subpar. The breakfast was really good and all of the staff were friendly.

Stayed here many times before and it just about always maintains the acceptable expectations we have in our lodging choices.

We came through thru to say goodbye to a loved one. Staff was great.

They were amazing as it was the Christmas Holiday. They took ample care of us and kept it festive.

Overall very good. One thing that I noticed was the breakfast prep lady (who was very nice) had gloves on touching everything including luggage carts, then right back to handling the food items. Same gloves.. Ive seen this happen in other places. Are the gloves to protect them or us???

The person working the front desk was distracted and no help when a dog on the fourth floor barked at 5:35 am on Saturday and then again that afternoon. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom fixtures were leaky and rusty. The kitchen staff was very friendly and diligently working during breakfast.

I made this reservation for my daughters because Hamptons are a safe bet for a good night's sleep. They were on a cross-country move and needed a good rest.

Front desk was nice. Hotel was dirty (mud from guests everywhere). Room smelled bad. Breakfast was terrible. 7am and the coffee was cold. Breakfast foods were jnedible. What a disappointment.

I think part of the cleanliness is that the hotel is need of some renovation upgrades. It was clean but there were arwas that just didnt seem clean because of what looked like age.
