This was a gem of a place--we weren't going "to" Oxnard, particularly, just passing through, but it was appealing to be on the water. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and in great condition, and had a balcony overlooking the harbor, which was lovely. The hotel was in walking distance of several restaurants on either side of the harbor. Highly recommend if you are going to spend time in the area or are just passing through.

Surrounding area is great and beautiful. The hotels itself is just OK. One annoying thing is that it seems to be wood construction, including floors, so logs of noise from rooms above you

I love the Hampton Inn channel Harbor. This is one of the go to hotels for my family. I regularly recommend it to others as well. It is in a more secluded spot in Oxnard, but it is right on the marina where you get a lovely view of the water and the boats as well as some marine life. There is a very nice small park adjacent to the hotel where you can enjoy the marina if you don’t have a marina view room. The hotel breakfast that’s included with the stay is also always very good and well stocked. We always have a lovely time at the Hampton Inn, Channel Harbor.
