Hampton Inn Evansville

We came to stay for a softball tournament and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was clean and spacious. I did notice a wet spot in the carpet near the ac unit when we first got there and chalked it up to condensation. There was also extremely heavy rain throughout the night and the next day the wet spot had expanded out into the walking path around the side and front of the bed. We notified the front desk who offered to put us in a different room, which we switched to with no further issues. Breakfast was good. Had all the staples except breakfast gravy. That’s the only thing I felt was missing but all the food available was good and nice to have for free with the stay. Pool area was nice. Staff was courteous and didnt mind a group of loud girls and parents in the lobby for several hours on Saturday evening when our games got rained out. There is a nice sitting area and we utilized it to the fullest. The hotel is also close to a lot of dining/fast food and stores for whatever you need. Checked out Sunday and had my deposit back by Monday morning which I greatly appreciate!

Things were fine, but not great. Worst tv options of any hotel ever. Plus the few channels you could get would just disappear in the middle of a show. Could not get NBC or CBS even once. ABC came in okay. Honestly, we probably wouldnt stay again.

Easy check-in/out, quiet and comfortable room.

When I arrived there was no one at the desk and no bell to alert there was a customer. The room was very nice but only had down pillows which I’m allergic to. The pool was cold. The 2 luggage carts were 1/2 size and didn’t fit through the door with anything on them. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide variety of options.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. There is a Texas Roadhouse across the parking lot for some great takeout.

It was a terrible stay. They charged me $300 for a smoking fee even though there was no smoking going on in my room. Total scam of a place and overall sketchy vibes all around.

The upgrade that was done to the property is really nice. It feels good to stay somewhere that has a clean environment

The owner of a barking dog (sic) was in the room nearly as we were checking in. Returned to the front desk and they moved us to another room with out issue. Great staff. Rooms are very nice, well equipped and clean.

I had a good stay. I enjoyed all that was available- refreshments in the lobby, free breakfast in the morning, the pool, restaurants within walking distance. I did some shopping at nearby stores. I felt safe and that’s important because I was traveling alone. The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly and easy to communicate with. I enjoyed my stay. My only issue was my proximity to the elevator. I will be staying there again as it is conveniently close to my son’s apartment, but I will ask for a room away from the elevator.

Nice place

We were for the Baseball semifinals with the Shenandoah Varsity baseball team. We are 3 hr. drive. So we decided to go down Friday and stay overnight. Everything was fine and normal no complaints. I do want to thank Deloris and who ever else found and took my b.b. hat to front desk. Thank you Deloris for saving my hat, my husband drove back to see if it was there and it was 😊. The hat covered the gray and matched my shirt.

My mattress was uncomfortable, but the staff was very friendly, every thing was clean, breakfast was good, a good stay.

Breakfast was okay, very typical. I understand and agree about changing the towels every other day but there’s no towel bars to hang them on to dry. There was no luggage rack in our room.
