Hampton Inn Sedona

We booked for one night and it was quite noisy as the people in room next to us kept yelling after midnight.There was no one from the staff to let them know it was disturbing other guests. Coming to the room amenities the rest room had no exhaust fan.

Could use a few updates, the bathroom had mole, the coffee machine in the room was full of dust. Staff was nice and friendly

Friendly staff and comfortable stay. The hotel overall could use a cosmetic upgrade but the rooms were comfortable and kept us close to many Sedona businesses. A little on the worn out side but it was clean and smelled clean too (for a pet friendly hotel). The lighting and counter space in the room was terrible so it wasn't easy to apply contact lenses or makeup. Also, the hair dryer was pretty weak so I was happy I brought my own. We enjoyed the amenities like the free breakfast and gym. The gym had two mats, a Peleton (2 lb weights), elliptical and a treadmill. They also had weighted balls. Small but enough space for get a workout in. The food is your typical basic "American" fare. A hot egg dish that changes daily, hard boiled eggs, Oatmeal daily, breads, waffle machine, cereals, packaged yogurt and fruits (albeit mealy apples and canned fruit). Great to get a basic breakfast if you want to save money for other parts of the trip. However, if premium or healthier food is of importance there is a Whole Foods down the street and your room may have a mini fridge and microwave. There is a pool as well, but we did not use it. Parking was an additional $17/day. Would I return, maybe. I may try to find something else a little more updated but I would return and recommend it as a basic place to stay.

The smell in the entire hallway areas need attention. The carpets should be replaced through the property.

Check-in was a breeze and the room was exactly as expected for our couple of days in Sedona. I will definitely return to this place again. Hopefully soon!

The unexpected fee of $17/day for parking upon check out was upsetting. Especially after being told we were all clear in person and reviewing the bill via email. Overall the location was convenient for doing things in Sedona. We did have an exceptional interaction with a employee named Jamie who helped us when we were about to be late for a tour due to the incredible traffic and parking problem in Sedona.

We had a small room and our heating unit froze up and kept us awake the first night. They sent someone in to fix it. Second night was better but not great. It wasn’t as nice as the rest of the Hampton inns I’ve stayed in. I was disappointed

The only negative aspect of our stay was the fact that we could only get a few channels on the TV for two days….. none of the major networks.

The beds were too hard. The shower faucet to difficult to turn on and keep warm. The room for the price was so so.

They charged me $34 parking without mentioning it.

Great place to stay, friendly staff, breakfast was good and the room was a great size. My only complaint is I think it’s ridiculous that I have to pay for parking to park in their own parking lot.. it wasn’t street parking or a parking garage.. just they’re own lot.

Clean and friendly

We waitied for our room and was told twenty minutes then waited another forty becuase they said they had to change the sheets. Sheets had something on them as did the comforter. We booked a king size bed. It was two bed not king size. The mattress was worn and did not make for a peaceful night. She refunded my parking and blamed Hotels.com for the mix up. Told me to call them but they had NONE!

The place is okay, the staff were really nice but the overall cleanliness was not great. The office chair in our room hadn’t been cleaned in a while as it had dust & crumbs on the seat. When we came back to our room about 930pm our key wasn’t working so we had to go to the office to see why, apparently they had made a mistake & checked us out? No idea what happened but it was annoying. We only stayed for a night because we were here for a wedding but I instantly regretted not spending an extra $50-$100 to stay somewhere nicer.
