Every single person we encountered was so nice, happy and helpful. It was refreshing to see so many employees who seemed happy to be at work and happy to help their customers. There was a large security presence. Not sure why…maybe due to past incidents or maybe just to make sure there were no incidents. Either way, we felt safe. We ate at two of the restaurants there and the food was good at both places (Brew Brothers and Royal Noodle Bar). We attended a concert at the VooDoo lounge and gambled some. We had a great time! The only negative is the rooms are not well sound proofed. I recommend ear plugs for a good nights sleep.

Filthy, outdated rooms. Never once asked by wait staff for drinks except for once in high stakes room & then only once. Rooms were absolutely disgusting.

It has been 10 years since their last renovation. It may be time again. The wall paper is separating in places and water damage on the refrigerator cabinet. For the price paid for the night you'd expect a well taken care room. The other guests are inconsiderate. They are very inebriated and they try to enter you room or they knock on your door early in the morning.

We were assigned room in KC tower. it’s older and getting kind of run down. Bed was comfortable though and amenities in room standard. . If can get room in Las Vegas tower that is a newer section. The food choices are limited to a noodle place, steak house and a short order place. I’d have a choice, I’d choose Ameristar over Harrahs though for food, casino and overall experience

For those considering staying at this property and sharing beds, please note that I'm giving this property 3 stars because the beds were smaller than what I usually see in hotels as "double beds" and to top it off, the beds were uncomfortable. It was a struggle for 2 average sized people to fit in one bed so if overweight, it could be a challenge. Also, I had to call twice in one day (at approx. 9am and then again at approx. 4pm) to get more towels putting us at risk of not being able to shower prior to a dinner event. Needless to say, I won't be staying at this property again.

The lady who checked me in was either having a bad or hated working there. Unfriendly and seemed annoyed when I asked which elevators it was. The bathroom was gross. The shower had black mold in the corner. Wish I had taken a picture of it. The rack in the shower had hair on it. There was fingernail clippings on the floor behind the toilet. The counter was covered in dust. The bathroom door was filthy. The king bed was uncomfortable. The Ac worked better in the hallways then it did in our room. Sewer smell throughout the walkway to the casino.

When we arrived we were told that our room was going to be "upgraded" for whatever reason which sounded like a great thing. When we got to our "improved" we found that our room that was supposed to have 1 KING size bed was now a room with 2 FULL beds. I am not a very small man and take up most of a full bed. Unfortunately this led to one of us being "kicked out of bed" each night unintentionally by simply rolling over to get comfortable. The only part that looked "upgraded" was the bathroom which had a separate bathtub and shower, but was very unnecessary in my unprofessional opinion.
