Hilton Boston Park Plaza

This is a heavily traffic'ed hotel. The walls are not well sound insulated so you will hear your neighbors at night. The breakfast is army issue fair with lousy coffee, not free. Location is very practical. Staff is modestly accomodating.

Front desk Richard saved the day, its my go to, great location, big property has it all.

Staff was friendly but overwhelmed especially at check out. Bag storage and valet crushed around check out time. Maybe offer staggered check out times to manage the flow. Bag storage folks so overwhelmed that they were tagging and leaving luggage unattended so that they could take everyone’s bags. I get it but didn’t want my things sitting in the lobby for someone to grab.

We had a great stay. Really great location and a very nice hotel.

I loved the location of the property! However, the valet parking was pretty difficult to get to, especially since I think the address on Google was incorrect (took me to the front of the building, valet parking is in the back). The bathroom is very small and has a public restroom vibe (toilets had a foot flush). The dining options were amazing! Strega is a must-go, and the room service was great option as well.

Room was very nice and clean. They need to figure out the elevator situation. Often with long waits, only to arrive and find its already full. There was a significant wait for food in the lobby restaurant but the manager acknowledged and made it right. Overall a great stay.

I have booked two private nights before my Business stay, to have the possibility to not move between the two bookings. As my private booking was a smaller room, the reception told me, that I had to switch rooms on Sunday. Unfortunately that meant I had to completely check out at 11 and come back at 3 again. There was no possibility to get a later checkout until the new room is ready nor even a notification for when the Room is ready. Even the Managerin wasn‘t interested in helping at all and just tried to force me to downgrade my second booking to the smaller room. Additionally the Elevators were always full and it took me 20-30 Minutes to come down to the Lobby.

Very convenient location

The hotel was very nice but there were some issues with the room/room service. I rarely spring for an expensive hotel so I guess I just was hoping for no issues at all. We got in and the fridge was broken and the safe wouldn’t work to lock up our valuables. They were also supposed to send someone up to set up the extra bed(sofabed). They never showed so when we got back from our show I had to call front desk at 11:20 pm and wait for them. They sent someone to swap out the fridge while we were at our show and instead of swapping them they put one on the floor and plugged it in outside of the cabinet. We checked out a little early and the guy at the front desk was nice and waived our hotel fee($40) but I could have spent easily $100 less and had zero issues at some of the other hotels we’ve stayed at.
