Holiday Inn COLUMBIA-EAST by IHG, an IHG Hotel

I was surprised that my room didn’t have a USB charging port. I even double checked with the front desk in case I missed something. I had to charge my phone in my car. Overall, it is a nice hotel.

The check in took a long time only one person was doing it, the check out she did not know how to do it she needed to call and ask we need more people furgon check in time and we need more experience people for checking out thank you

The food at the bar was absolutely terrible the bar had food stored with the glasses looked unkempt.

I just want to say Thank you to the staff for making our vacation even better, we could not have done it without you.

Fine but a little outdated

Two night stay. No hot water the first morning. Better the second morning. Various electrical outlets had no power going to them - even after pushing reset buttons. Safety lock on the door had a screw missing and every time the microwave was used to warm up water for tea, the provided cup had a burn mark. Very dangerous.

Nice staff. Low water pressure and sheets mediocre.

OK hotel, but after 6 days I'm still waiting for a $50 deposit refund that I was charged for "possible incidental charges" that we did not have.

The entire staff from the front desk to the restaurant staff were fantastic! Wonderful experience all around.

Bathroom was dirty dust all over the walls and stained carpet. Apparently, our neighbors did not appreciate us, singing, happy birthday and started pounding on the walls and proceeded to do that with every laugh or noise for 2 hrs until we decided it wasn’t worth a headache and went to bed earlier than planned.

Dates but fine . Slight smell that was not pleasant in room. Bathroom very dated with shower curtain and old tub

Based on earlier reviews we expected so much better. We had room 417, constant AC at 63 degrees; maintenance man could not fix; then room 418, too hot and unable to repair; moved to room 415 - finally! Lamp shade cracked and shabby, clock not working in two rooms and same two rooms had non working frig; linens clean and white, mattresses worn. I’m on crutches and 79 years old so husband did all the moving from room to room. Every failure was facility management problem - not local employees. Quite frankly we should receive a refund. Holiday Inn Express Corp should be held accountable.

City shuttle goes to/from Mizzou games, which was very convenient for us considering the major snowstorm that hit. Staff was great. Place is clean. Rooms might be a little dated compared to Marriotts, but it was a great value for the price.

The bed was worn out and sunken in. The couch was ragged. The carpet was unraveling and filthy. Turned my white sock brown. The curtains were half way ripped down. It smelled like an old dirty place. We were exhausted so we literally fell into the beds. That was the only reason we didn’t leave. I paid what I consider a ridiculous amount for an atrocious room. That was sub-par at best!!!!

The hotel and its staff were great. We just had a loud number who had children that screamed and ran around their room into the early morning hours. There was also a party going on in the room above us with super loud music early in the morning. Hotel was clean, super easy access from interstate.

It was great , Very helpful, Very courteous all staff and the cafe was clean and our food was fresh and delivered fast !
