The facility was surprisingly welcoming and comfortable...for the most part. Be aware that, at the time of this writing, the hotel's conference center portion and a couple of floors are under construction. Hence, this may be a bit of an inconvenience for some.
The breakfast is one that you do have to pay for, but it was delicious and had a good variety of products. There is ample parking and is easy to get to where you need in town.
There are some shortcomings with the hotel, though. First, the room that I stayed in had some stains by the entrance of the room. Second, please note the bathtubs are small. Third, the restaurant on site is open a limited amount of time in the evenings and the menu was woefully limited. Finally, there is no business center but perhaps after their renovation, there will be.
Overall, the hotel is certainly one that I would stay in again and would encourage anyone that I know to do the same.

I booked a single bed room and paid for it. When I was about to check in, the front desk told me that my information was not in the system. I said how could it be possible, so I showed him my payment receipt. After a long time, they suddenly told me that they found it and upgraded my room for free. In the end, they gave me a room with two beds. I told the front desk that I was alone! Unpleasant

Toilet flush too loud. Bathroom door stuck. Would have appreciated better access to drinking water and not teeny tiny bottles. Restaurant had terrible service .. we left to eat elsewhere.

This property is under renovation and is clearly not ready (or at least shouldn’t be ready) for occupants. The carpet is missing in many segments creating walking and tripping hazards.
Our room looked to be ‘renovated’ by the new laminate flooring and ‘updated’ bathroom tile. However there was a leak in the bathroom from the ceiling that was explained away as a messy occupant above that should resolve soon - it did not. The next day while we were out they “fixed” it and just painted over the water stain on the ceiling.
Needless to say, find another place to stay especially if they are still going to charge $200+ per night

Its the second time in a month ive stayed here. The first time was really good. This time the bed was not comfortable and the wifi didnt work. When i brought it up with the counter guy he said and i quote, "No one else had any problems so it must've been your equipment." I showed him how it wasn't connecting and he rolled his eyes and said "That happens." He was not very friendly or helpful. The first time it was good the second not good.

Bathroom had dirt/mold all the way around the tub, tv didn’t work and air conditioner wasn’t working. Person ih the parking lot was smoking pot, said something to front desk and they were jot concerned.
Management did reach out, but didn’t offer to make the situation right. Very disappointed with them. Absolutely do not recommend

Location easy access and convenient to shops and restaurants
We had a great experience at the Wyndham.. Even though it was under renovation, we had a very wonderful room. The bed was super good. The decor was very nice. The room itself was clean and all of the amenities were full and the towels were plenty. I believe when they complete their renovations and get a new glow up, this will become a very popular place for travelers coming into Columbia.

The hotel was under construction and seemed closed. The front entrance was not visible from the street, so it seemed closed. The room had a weird smell. The bathrooms were not cleaned daily. My drinks exploded in the mini fridge (they were not near the coldest part).
However, very friendly staff.

Just FYI, the hotel lobby and common areas were undergoing a remodel but I didn't hear any of that in my guest room so no bother at all. The room was recently renovated and quite comfortable. Great water pressure, comfy bed. I liked that there were soft and firm pillow options. Breakfast was standard hotel fair and perfectly fine. Lots of easy access parking. This hotel is going to be a real gem and a convention destination once it's all finished.

The room was clean and the AC was functional, but unfortunately, the humidity was a major issue. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so all the steam from the shower lingered and spread into the room. Even with the AC running, it felt damp and uncomfortable. Improving ventilation would make a big difference in the overall comfort of the stay.
