We enjoyed our stay here - easy walk to several locations we wanted to visit. The staff were all friendly and the breakfast was good! Only quibbles are the Pillows were not great + surprised no USB outlets. But overall good stay!

We needed a place to stay overnight after dinner and the theater. This hotel fit the bill. It was very reasonable and convenient to the University area. The parking is steep, but downtown parking in general is high. We could have parked for free on the street, but the area is in the music district and I’m not that brave. We had a top floor room, and it was very quiet.

Room was clean, breakfast was great, nice to have coffee available outside breakfast hours. Soap dispenser in shower was broken but we had some packed. Area was neat, but lots of homeless people around. There is a mission or soup kitchen down the street, so at 6pm there were 30-40 homeless people outside when we were walking back.

Everything was great. The only issue was the cooler in the room wasn't working otherwise it was a great stay.

I had a great time in Austin and this Holiday Inn hotel was a great place to stay.

Overall this is a nice facility (not great). for an IHG Indigo facility. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety, room was very clean. No USB ports in our room which is a big minus for anyone with cell phones or other electronics. Hallway carpeting on the 2nd floor had multiple stains. The reception desk staff provided minimal or inadequate instructions on parking access, but grateful underground parking was available. The location makes it walkable to various restaurants and entertainment such as "The Elephant Room". Centrally located, it was only a 10 minute drive to the LBJ Presidential Library.

The hotel is a little old, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Nice property but extremely overpriced. I booked after seeing rates for around $170 per night for a weeknight and went through with the booking, only to learn at checkout that my rate was $330 for a random Tuesday night! It seems to me that the rate changed from the viewing page to the checkout page and I must have missed that. Be very sure of your rate before you enter your credit card info through Expedia. I would never knowingly sign up to pay $330 for a night at a Holiday Inn Express.

Nicely appointed rooms, extremely friendly staff, terrific breakfast options. Unfortunately the location was a little sketchy. I like to stay within walking distance to most of my destinations. This property satisfied that criteria, however I would not have been comfortable walking the immediate vicinity alone st night. Keep in mind this is definitely NOT a reflection on the hotel. Within the walls everything was perfect.

Dance club next door so all the even rooms will hear it till 2am. White noise machine helps, but it's still loud. Tub nozzle looked like it would fall off at any moment. Bug disturbance in the hall at 3a.m., curious how the guy got on the floor if you have to have a room key. They should have called the cops.

Great location to where we was going. Parking a tad bit high but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location, great value, very good breakfast

Appreciated professional, friendly, helpful staff, great housekeeping, tea & coffee in lobby, good shower, comfortable bed, quiet, safe & convenient location for walking & public transit. Appreciated empty frig ready to use & microwave, traditional coat hangers, drain with stopper to wash things out, easy TV, strong wifi, quick elevators. Concerns were coffeemaker not working that took a couple days & several requests to replace, breakfast could use healthier options & an in-room laptop safe would be great. Altho I'd paid the bill in full in advance with hotels.com, the hotel billed me for 2 nites again & then again for the whole stay. It took several phone calls to get them to refund their duplicate charges. There was an odd security guard who approached me after the front desk staff & I had greeted each other one evening when I returned to hotel. He stood a few feet away from me just staring. I finally asked him if everything was ok. He asked to see my room key. There were several other folks who came in around the same time. He didn't ask them for room keys.

We had a great stay of 3 nights. We visited the city and drove to areas of interest outside the city. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Nice, comfortable breakfast area also. I'd like to thank the kind employee, Lina-Ana, who asked if I needed anything and how my breakfast was. Everything was well stocked and extremely clean and in order. I would reccommend this location for those wanting to walk to the bar scene. It was very close.

The staff was great, hotel is clean great amenities, rooms could be cleaner with a better timing of cleaning rotating items like sinks walls floor boards finger prints on windows and found hair clip from previous guests
