Holiday Inn Express BROCKTON - BOSTON by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Area a bit doggy - the hotel is an upgraded old building. It’s ok. Room in comfy and clean

Room was clean & Comfortable but a little too small for the price.

Stay was ok, first staff person was not that accommodating. The shift was changing and second person encountered was pleasant and accommodating. Property is a little dated, room was clean but furniture dated bed was clean and comfortable.

It was perfect for a one night stay!

The facility had stains on the wall, the furniture had obvious damage, strong smoking smell throughout facility covered in a strong air freshener, breakfast was dried out and burnt

Holiday Inn express is usually a go to move for our family. Wasn’t the best one but the worst one.

Staff wa friendly. Clean rooms.

Room smelled musty as soon as we opened the door. And the smell never left. There was a large dent on wall. Door to room was coming off bottom hinge. Lotion dispenser broken. I find hotels give us crappy rooms when they see we paid discounted rate on Expedia.

The first room we had has broken AC but they’re kind enough to move us in another room. They should have regular check on the rooms specifically with AC. I supposed to get some rest right after checkin in because I worked overnight but have to wait and deal with maintenance and transfer to other room after unpacking already our things. Pool is heated but they dont even have life guard in there or at least someone to keep it safe for kids. Other guests jumping, shouting and doing wristling on pool even with other guests around which is so inconvenient and unsafe for others. Facility is near mall though which is a plus but the hotel itself needs major renovation and maintenance.

The receptionists need better training in customer service. If the female receptionists continue their negative attitude, this business risks losing customers. I have decided not to return there. Please note that the hotel is very good, but my experience with the receptionists was terrible. The receptionists clearly don't care about the business; they only care about their paychecks.

Ice machine not working on 3rd floor for 4 nights

Elevators too far apart for handicap occupants as myself and wife...facility is not updated.
