Holiday Inn ROANOKE AIRPORT-CONFERENCE CTR by IHG, an IHG Hotel

My overall stay was fine until I found out after reserving my rooms I had to pay $100.00 deposit for each room. I was assured that I would get the deposit back once I checked out. Checking with my bank I found that the deposit was not released. Calling directly to hotel they now tell me 10 days!

Overnight stay to drip off child at college. Great,easy stay. Lobby is big with a bar that was nice.

My only bad thing was tv is was not working I call the front desk and send someone to try to figure out only thing he said not long to ago they change the tv’s and some was not working he couldn’t figure out only he said he will let the front desk the tv was not working

The smell of the room, ventilation not good and cleanliness was not good.

No hassle, room on first floor. Clean. Friendly service. I asked for a plastic fork and they didn’t have one but gave me a real one to use. Short stay but simple.

Last minute booking. Booked on road trip. Purposely booked for having dining / bar. There was no staff who showed up, so restaurant was closed. Hallways were dark and dingy. Elevators smelled like weed.

Barely liked it. It was a disappointing stay. No refrigerator withfreezer compartment. No secured means of securing important docs or personal effects. Having to get water from bathroom to brew beverages.No blankets or

Never was told that cleaning service is only twice a week and that you have to pay for breakfast.

Needs carpet change and more lights in the hallway. Lobby area was nice. Overall, nice.

I was told that thete was a shuttle to the airport 1.3 miles away. I called before I arrived and asked how I got the shuttle and was told to call the hotel when I arrived and they would send the shuttle. I called when I arrived and was informed that the hotel no lo get provides shuttle service. I responded that I was told that afternoon that there was. The woman stated that she didn't know who told me that because the is no service and to call uber. So for $27 I got a 1.3 mile uber ride Still trying to figure out how I am going to get to the airport for my vety early flight.

This hotel is old and a little seedy looking and we have never before seen a room with NO closet. There were just two coat hooks and to make matters worse they were in a corner making it impossible to hang even a single one. Unbelievable. My wife had nice dresses to hang. We left!!’ Terrible experience.

The property was fine - a mid-level hotel like any other. But the service was very poor - the front desk was excruciatingly slow every time we interacted, with a continuous line of frustrated travelers. Never seemed to cause the staff to work harder or faster. The cleaning crew kept trying to enter our room despite the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Then they deactivated our cards midway through our stay. All in all, extremely mediocre service which means a lack of decent management.

I had to wait like 2 hours before I got a room and my bathroom was dirty it was a horrible stay while being out of town working

The room was very clean and the dove soap dispensers were a nice addition to the bathroom, love that. I love the breakfast section which was an addition cost but was worth the price!!!

I checked in Friday afternoon and came back Saturday afternoon and I was locked out of my room because someone lost paperwork and deleted my reservation. Had to spend over an hour trying to get back into my room that I had paid for and signed for. And was told that I wasn’t even allowed to get my belongings out of the room
