Homewood Suites by Hilton Mobile Airport-University Area

Convenient but quiet location near Mobile airport. Good breakfast. Spacious one-bedroom suite. Some of the furniture was showing wear and tear. A fair number of restaurants in the area.

I had to stay in a room with mold for a day. I was told they had no other room. They said refund would be a charge to leave there. The room I was moved to the next day was better but couldn’t move until that evening. I had two rooms one was canceled out I had to pay more out.

Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable stay and conveniently located for all our needs. Staying here again next month.

This property should be removed for any site. A full refund is expected. New accommodations were needed and a higher rate was paid .

This was a great hotel for staying close by to the hospital for a family member. Had everything I needed just like a small apartment and the breakfast was good for a hotel. I would’ve rated my stay as four or five stars total if my checkout experience hadn’t been bad. I needed to stay another night and unfortunately they were all booked up but the front desk associate offered me a late check out so I could find another hotel nearby, which I greatly appreciated. However, at 11 o’clock on my checkout day, I had three different people knocking on my door asking when I was going to check out and people seem to be very confused that I was going to be there a little bit longer and hadn’t communicated. One housekeeper even told me she was “going to go cuss out the manager.” Obviously this left a very bad taste in my mouth for it otherwise great visit.

This was a great property for our whole family. There was abundant space and privacy. While the hotel is aging, the rooms were excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

When we walked in, it seemed ok but then I noticed up above that the wall had paper falling off. It took awhile to get our room for some reason. The lady checking us in, her phone rang, she stopped it but the guy working next to her yelled at her about it. It was very uncomfortable. We got our room and went there. I noticed things did not look as put together as other Hilton hotels. Looked run down. Our room smelled moldy. We got a two bedroom for 3 nights. The main bedroom always felt wet. The bed, sheets and everything we brought in became damp feeling. The curtain was hanging off the rods on the ends and looked to be that way for a while. All the seats in the rooms were really shredded looking. They all need replacing. The couch looked dirty. When we went for breakfast, the lady working there was so nice and talked to us and took great care of everyone. But the food was really not good. I got a bagel to toast and it was stale and hard as a rock. Just was not good. We are Hilton members, even though we do not travel a lot and stay in hotels but when we do it is usually a Hilton because we have walkways enjoyed our stay with them and like how clean and nice they are. Sadly, this was not good. Hilton needs to do some major renovations and replace a lot of things. I did not take any pictures but we stayed in room 212 in a two bedroom. I would not recommend staying here if any of this bothers you. It was not up to Hilton standards. The floors were also rough and nasty.

We booked with kitchen but kitchen had not the basic stuff which someone needs to cook. Infact they don’t have any dinner plates and we have to use the plastic ones which they provided us. Rooms were smelly and bath tubs not clearing water due to which we have to wait for taking shower after the water is cleared which takes minimums 10mins

Ac barely works.

Property was not acceptable to stay in and was charged for nit staying there. Expedia nor the Hotel was willing to work things out.

They did not have our rooms, even though i had the reservation confirmation…and were completely booked. We had to go somewhere else. They were less than helpful in getting us accommodations at another hotel.

Nice rooms with sitting area...with good little breakfast area in morning. Nice stay!!

Nice people. Nice evening meal - that was unique for the hotels I've stayed at. Carpet was not in the best condition - in my room one edge was frayed & loose - a trip hazard.

All and all it was just a good stay.

The mold in this hotel is a very serious health concern. Staff is very nice- But, the place is falling apart and the MOLD in certain rooms is so bad you will not be able to breathe.

The most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. Literally not one good thing to report here. FILTHY. The doors, the carpets, the walls and furniture. Furniture worn out. Wallpaper hanging off the walls. Mold in the bathroom. Even saw a roach in the bathroom overnight. So awful. Will absolutely NEVER stay at a Homewood suites again anywhere. Hilton should be ashamed.

Homewood is my favorite place to stay!

Terrible room, chairs and sofa was extremely worn out and not suitable for use. Room had terrible odor. Breakfast wasn't what am accustomed to. Highly disappointed.
