Homewood Suites by Hilton Portsmouth

Ive been going there coupe years my friend had contract for a year and stayed during that time. During that toime I got to befriend cindy. She was was the hotest withe momstest Just AMAZING!! I miss her face. But on top of that yr staff is always friendly and great to talk to. You pick the right ones thank you!! Oh and u have eveytjomg a person would neef

Friendly and quiet

Our Family trip was amazing, we enjoyed coming here when we visit my son, it is very close and convenient, close to shopping, town, Seacoast Repertory Theater and much more.

The bathroom had, what I can only describe as pubic hair, all over the bathroom floor. There was no cleaning staff on that evening so the Front Desk had to clean it up themselves.

Enjoyed our stay. Convenient.

The same breakfast for two days in a row was not good pool was cold and small but other than that the room was clean updated and spacious we enjoyed our stay

Affordable and no dis likes

We had an okay stay at this property. The positives were the free breakfast, the comfort of the bed, the cleanliness of the lobby, and the decorations. The negatives were that our room’s bathtub was dirty, the pool was freezing cold as well as the pool room and unusable, our room smelled like marijuana, and the ceilings were not sound-proof. Our upstairs neighbors were stomping at all hours.

Love to stay there, every one is very friendly, food is great/ breakfast. Pool is nice/inside. Gym is available and nice too.

Not clean..sheets smelled used and dog hair and dog smell was bad. Been to others around the Country that were ok. This on was bad

Great stay for UNH parents weekend!

It was very nice, clean room, food was great. Closed to shopping center and supermarket. Closed to downtown.

Very convenient location to downtown. Good breakfast with variety of hot & cold choices.

I checked in for an overnight stay with my family and the room we reserved was dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke. The staff tried to re-clean but it didn't work and they had no rooms to move us to. The manager, Kirar, promised a full refund but never refunded the money and now is unreachable. I don't ever leave bad reviews but this is just too much to ignore.

Hotel is nice, quiet location and rooms are big. But the rooms aren't so clean

This was one of the dirtiest rooms I’ve ever gotten on a reservation. Semen stains on the duvet cover, mystery mold in the shower, beard or pubic shavings in drawers and along headboard of bed. Sheet was inside out, was it actually fresh? Dirt in the refrigerator, food and dirt along floors where the vacuum doesn’t reach. Elevators full of dog urine and hair and just plain smelly. When the front desk was confronted with the problem they handed me a card and told me to call the manager. The manager never answered or called back. Every surface was gross. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks at the breakfast buffet. I chose not to eat. I stay in a LOT of hotels and this was hands down one of the grossest next to a super 8 in a cruddy neighborhood. I mean I took another shower when I got home. NOT what I was expecting out of a hotel in the Hilton family. Not even an apology from a manager. Although I’m not surprised because the front desk person was too busy trying to pay their credit card via phone when I complained… won’t be returning, and probably will never use the homewood group again.

Adequate hotel. Nice facilities and location. The TV remotes didn't work and I had to climb up to unplug it from the wall. There was mildew in the bathroom, I notified the front desk but nothing was done. Not enough sheets in the room for the pull out bed and had to call down for more. Morning breakfast was short-staffed a few times and hard to get utensils and plates, no waffles are served on weekdays FYI.

Great stay at this place! Highly recommend, and it's a great location for family outings
