We enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. Staff was friendly upon arrival and throughout our whole stay. We enjoyed the breakfast and how they switched up the menu a bit each day. Food was very good and many food options. We enjoyed our breakfast in the indoor area and the outside patio area, it was nice and clean. Our rooms were nice and clean. We also enjoyed the pool a few nights, and the jacuzzi. We took some nice morning walks and enjoyed the scenic views. The hotel area and surrounding area were safe. Will definitely book here again!

Love to stay at Homewood Suites at Liberty Station. Better than home. My only disappointment was the pool water was not as clean as the past visits. I know it was right after 4th of July and a lot of guests were there, so I understand but all else was great!

Great stay at the Homewood Suites Liberty Station. Service was exceptional. Housekeeping, front desk, and breakfast room staff were all top-notch. Rooms were clean and well-appointed. Kitchen had everything necessary. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. AC was good. Shower worked well. Security and door safety was good. Breakfast was served starting at 6 AM. Waffle makers, eggs, sausage, breads, cereal......etc. Located adjacent to the well used Liberty Station Esplanade, which was ideal for walking. Also less than 2 miles from the airport . Even thought the Homewood is adjacent to the airport area, there was no airport noise in the room. Final take...highly recommended. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

My biggest concern when reserving was the location near the airport. I was worried that the noise would be irritating and that the location was probably not the best option. However, after reading all the reviews, I opted to stay at Homewood Suites. We stayed in a two room suite with a king room and a queen room. my husband and I were traveling with our daughter and her husband. When we got there, the staff was extremely welcoming, the room was spacious & clean, and location was perfect for our trip. After the first night sleep, we all agreed that the beds were comfortable and the hotel insulation blocked the airport noise. It was very quiet, we had no interruptions in the night. Breakfast was exceptional.The staff was so nice and very helpful. Everything was kept stocked and clean. My daughter has a wheat allergy and she was able to eat a decent breakfast with protein. Each morning, the breakfast had a different hot option (eggs, meat protein, and a potato carb). The flour tortilla tasted homemade, they were delicious. My daughter eat the corn option:) Since we knew we had a full refrigerator we brought tons of bottled water for the trip. When we got there, we noticed a filtered water dispenser with a UV purifier in the lobby. You can get fresh water everyday, extra perk. My daughter said she wasn't thrilled about my hotel choice by the online pics. However, as we were leaving, she said this is where she wants to stay next time. It was a great place.

Overall nice hotel near Liberty station. Breakfast is just okay nothing great about it. I would return if the breakfast was better. Driving to the hotel you do go through some pretty sketchy areas.

Updated room that was clean and convenient. The surrounding area is extremely walkable with shops and dining near by. The daily included breakfast is outstanding with many options. The hotel is right on a large park, which is both a positive and a negative. I guess the hotel is required to open their facilities to the public, so the 2 BBQ's that we planned on using were impossible to get to as people set up large gatherings and took up the BBQ's and surrounding tables every night. The pool is also extremely small for a small hotel and opens at 7 am, so it was basically full from sun up to 10 pm at closing. If you just use the hotel as a place to sleep, eat breakfast, and explore the surrounding area I don't think you could find a better option. If you plan on using their advertised facilities, you may be a little disappointed

Nice and quiet area. Easy and quick access to the airport.

We had the 2 bed 2 bath suite and it was AMAZING. The hotel is in a great location. Everything was near by and we did have our own car. But Liberty Station is a business park and everything is nearby including walking distance. We had some issues with housekeeping. One time the housekeeper literally busted into our suite without knocking and was behaving bizarre and just persistent like OVERLY persistent that she lost her broom and didn’t clean our floors, I had to push her out the door physically because she was acting weird and literally scared my kids. The free breakfast was great and the staff was accommodating. The front desk Kelly was great, but another front desk gal showed no compassion when we checked in and were so exhausted from our flight, so it’s a hit or miss on the front desk. But the hotel itself is best hotel in the San Diego area. Hands down
