Beautiful facility lovely room

My sister and I speak the night here waiting for my brother to arrive the next day. After a long drive up from Texas, this room was a delight!

First off, the staff were very kind and helpful and did a great job assisting us. However, the physical state of the property is just falling apart. Not working: 1st room AC was out (80 degrees in the room), would have just opened windows, but there were no screens and there were wasp/hornets all over the roof line and windows, so we didn't want to invite them in. Pure filter wouldn't turn on (?) And the room had a strange smell, maybe an animal/pet? 2nd room thermometer battery needed replacing, not a big deal, but it is a good thing to check. A lot of water damage to balcony doors, and generally run down room. Pool was out of order, glad we didn't come over earlier in the day. A notification would have been helpful. I realize it is difficult to maintain these old properties, but since you asked me to share, I hope it is helpful.

Good Hotel, happy with the stay.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and efficient. We were travelling with pets and we're put in a designated pet room that smelled strongly of cat urine. The main bed was comfortable, but the pullout couch left a lot to be desired. There was smoking right next to the exits, so everytime I went in or out I had to walk through smoke. The breakfast selection was GREAT and the staff very helpful.

I know that the multi bed rooms is not unique t this hotel. But it was exactly the accommodations we were looking for our stay in the Kansas City area for the Big XII tournament. Thank you for the nice accommodations.

Great stay!!! Staff is wonderful

I have pictures and videos of the rooms. Moved two rooms after midnight ! Had a basketball tournament had my kids out of town in the streets looking for a room. Thank goodness Hyatt was able to get us in since alot of near by hiltons were booked. A lot of teams were down in KC so it was scary situation to be in. I will still book because I LOVE Hilton properties but this was NOT ok. I hope this gets fixed . My family lost out on a lot of money. Having the suit for my family saves us money cuz we can cook and eat on the room. We had to throw out our food from old room since we didn’t get all the features “full kitchen “ gone . Waste money food and time .

Big hotel, needs a few modern touches but over all pretty nice. The beds were incredibly comfortable and that the important part right? Next time we have a super early morning flight out of MCI, we will be back.
