Homewood Suites Kansas City-Airport

The day was OK. Check-in was really easy and the staff was very nice. It could’ve been a lot cleaner.

COCKROACHES IN MY BED! 2 of them my son chased towards the headboard and managed to kill - who knows how many more we didn’t see. Unfortunately we were already in the beds and watching TV. So at 11:00 at night we quickly packed up our stuff - informed the front desk agent who did not care - and left to drive 4 hours home. Before discovering the roach crawling OUT from under the blankets towards me - the room above us must’ve had kids running it was loud for it being so late. Never ever staying here again. We also saw one crawling on the hallway floor as we were leaving - DO NOT RECOMMEND!

$14/day hidden cost when staying here. They charge for parking and you have to pay every day you are there. Additionally, we stayed 6 days and not once did we have a cleaning crew come by to change towels, bedding or drop off toilet paper. Had to go to the front desk multiple times to get anything. The front of house staff was super friendly same with cooking staff for breakfast but was supper annoyed that we had to constantly go up front to get anything.

I did not like nor never heard of paying for hotel parking. Also their sink and tub was stopped up. But other than that nice all around.

The staff at check in was amazing, i belive his name was Jimmy. I asked alot of questions and he answered them all plus told me everything i needed to know upon check in. Great staff also around the property.

The staff were nice, but the property is dated and needs lots of TLC. In our room, the electric window curtains were ripped and non-functional, shower looked a bit dirty and some of the floor tile had cracks, beds weren't very comfortable, the bedroom TV didn't work, and the ceiling fan barely spun. Overall, just an okay property if you want to be near the airport.

The basketball court was an added bonus for my teenager. 24 hour gym and the pool were also a bonus.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in

Our stay was very nice. The room was very comfortable, and very clean. Close to restaurants and stores.

Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Used bar of soap in shower, very noisy. We left a day early

Housekeeping entered my room. No knocking or announcing who they were. I was in a towel as I'd just gotten out of the shower. I look out the bedroom door and see 2 people in my doorway, they immediately closed the door. I called the front desk, who apologized and said they would have a talk with that floors supervisor. Nothing else was spoken about it for the rest of the stay. If your room.is facing the courtyard, then it will not be a quiet vacation. Kids and teens constantly playing basketball, and swimming. People out till 2 am talking and being loud. People running up and down the hallways. A house keeper used the room next to mine to plug in a vacuum cleaner to "clean" the hallway at 9:30 pm. The AC worked really well. Sounds like jet engine fans are used to push the air into the room. Not even turning the TV up drowns it out, cause then the TV is blaring. If I do ever go back to this property I will ask for a room not facing the courtyard. 2 stars for a comfy bed, and breakfast taco bar.
