I travel to Portland frequently to play music and I have to say this was one of the best hotels I've stayed at within the city. The hotel itself is very secure since we are in the Portland area. The valet parking is secure. The place is kept up very well. My room was clean. The room comes with goodies that you can purchase which was convenient. Bathrobe was excellent. The rooftop restaurant and bar was wonderful and the staff up there are very professional. Overall, all the staff at this facility were super friendly. I plan on staying here anytime I have a gig from now on. I've stayed at enough two-star hotels for similar price. This place is worth it hands down.

Always a great day. I had a little trouble getting the room to cool off though. It may have been user error not sure. When I asked for foam pillows instead of Feather, they brought them up in about 15 or 20 minutes. Even though the guy in the phone said it would be five minutes. Not a big deal at all. If that's important to you though check as soon as you get to the room instead of waiting like I did until I was ready for bed. Also ask for a room on the opposite side of the MAX (train/trolly) just in case the noise of the MAX running by bothers you because it is very close to the hotel.

Excellent vicinity to Moda stadium and downtown area.
The valet staff were very attentive and friendly with our regular in/out needs. The check-in experience had issues with the staff member, but on escalating this to the manager, she rectified the situation quickly, professionally, and without hesitation.

The room size was amazing, and upon first look, pretty stunning. But, several items were broken, including the handle to the fridge, the table in the dining area, and a vase on the coffee table. We also found hair (including a pube) in the bathroom. Lots of dust and hair in corners. Shampoo piles in the shower from a dripping wall dispenser. This place is promising, and I'd likely give it another chance, but it has a ways to go before being a true high class destination. Rooftop restaurant even closed early the days we were there, so even though we were told theyd be open, we weren't able to. Lastly, they did not clearly communicate charges. Just said nothing was due, then charged my card. It was for parking, which is fine, but it would have been nice to have that communicated so i didnt have to call to figure that out after the fact.
