It’s in a great location and a lot of food spots nearby! The only thing I dislike you have to verbally request cleaning and room service but they don’t tell you that.

We went there for a Stray Kids concert, and chose to stay at Hotel Felix due to the name being the same as one of the band members, it was also super close to the shops and a very easy drive to Wrigley Field where the concert was.

The pictures are VERY deceiving! Rooms are so tiny you can’t walk around your bed without a tight squeeze. No dressers but two drawers under the bed that are ridiculous to even bother to use. Be cautious if the shower floor it was extremely slippery! And the water goes onto the floor u less you have the shower head pointed at the wall. The room wasn’t in poor condition, just very 2 star hotel furniture. There was a partial fake lash in my shower floor, other than that the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable, pillows are very flat. The cold air was definitely amazing! The view is okay, not bad, I was on the 9th floor with a view. Okay the elevators!!!! They are NOSIY and take FOREVER!! Don’t expect coffee or fruit in the morning lol. Use spot hero app for parking! Location was useful.

The sink was stopped up and shower smelled like raw sewage! The wallpaper had stains and dried liquids dripping down. It was not very clean .

I was told there would be a nominal fee collected by the hotel for the resort fee on top of the quoted fee. I arrived at the hotel and they required a “urban fee” three times what was quoted. I call that bait and switch.

My experience was frustrating. The first room I was given had bugs (see photo), and the air conditioning unit was extremely loud. I was moved to another room, but it was adjoined to another guest room and had the same loud A/C issue. The final room I was placed in was not adjoining and did not have bugs, but unfortunately, the air conditioning noise persisted. Overall, I had a hard time getting rest.

Hotel Felix was very clean and the front desk people were helpful. Our room was very small with two beds and there was no room for three people to open our luggage and stay organized. I used the gym on the second floor twice. Although there was a huge selection of weights, there were no 10 pounders or 20 pounders, but four sets of 15 lbs and 25 lb weights. The location close to Mag Mile was fantastic and there is a Starbucks, McDonald’s and Walgreens close by.

Rooms are average size, but prices are affordable. Receptionists were cordial and helpful. They will give small packets ~250 ml of water on asking as you are paying the city charge rate which is 30$/day. Check in time is 3 pm, but they allow early check in exchange of 30$.

Rooms are very nice, it’s in a great area, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You can control your own room temperature, stream from your phone to the TVs and windows opened a small amount. Would stay again!
