Hotel Indigo TRAVERSE CITY, an IHG Hotel

Apparently “party night” is Friday night at the Indigo as the noise in the hallway (doors slamming, screaming, yelling, laughing) and running carried on well after midnight. It’s too bad guests are unable to respect the other guests who might want to sleep. Where was security? Very disappointing. Unfortunately anyone (non-guest) can enter the hotel and cause a disturbance at midnight? Please adopt and enforce a noise and loitering ordinance in respect for your guests.

Got a room with a bay view. Should be called a room with constant vehicle noise. Felt like we slept next to a busy freeway

Good location, close to the beach and restaurants. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable (firm but soft). Onsite restaurant was okay, better options within walking distance. Valet parking was pricey, would’ve liked a better deal for my extended stay.

We had a room with a view of the Bay. It was beautiful and hope to be back.

Bathroom doors are barn style sliding but are loud if not shut softly and can be heard from other rooms.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo. The front desk staff and valet gentleman were super friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and we had a nice view of the lake. Close to the downtown restaurants and shopping. We will definitely stay here again.

Staff were friendly, courteous and professional. Rooms with view have some road noise. Have to use valet parking as limited off road options. $12 for a chardonnay.

Have spent the last few years ringing in the new year at hotel Indigo. Top notch staff, service, location and comfort. TU for another year. See you in 2025.

Property looks great, however the smell of raw sewage was so strong. We were immediately moved rooms which I appreciated but the very strong smell gave me such a headache. Staff was friendly, I’m not sure if there’s a plumbing issue or what’s going on but it’s too bad.

Other than being given a room overlooking the hotel entrance carport, on a night which the hotel appeared to have many waterfront rooms empty, the stay was good.

Staff was friendly, until check out. Concierge couldn’t care less to assist with the luggage after he brought the car from valet parking. Hotel force one to valet park although there are plenty of space in front of the hotel to park.
