My daughter broke her leg and dislocated her ankle while working in the National Park. She landed at the hospital in Fresno. I flew in from out of town to help, having never been to Fresno before. Our stay involved last second changes, chaos waiting for the doc to decide when her 2nd surgery would be, and oh, so many pillows. The management and staff were so understanding, sweet and helpful. Can't recommend them highly enough! So grateful for their caring attention and understanding of our circumstances.

A wonderful surprise of the location the price and the layout. We will be returning in the future when family business takes us back to Fresno.

Nice big room, beautiful landscape, good breakfast.
Front desk lady let us park our pickup truck in front of entrance door since we have many stuff in the truck bed for security reasons.

This hotel is rated 8.6 which seem high to me. I've stayed here several times. It's a good hotel in a good location and it has been here forever operating under the same name. The property itself is nice and lush-looking on the outside, giving the impression of a high class luxury hotel, which it was in a bygone era. But once you get inside and into the rooms, they are downright run-of-the-mill and zero frills. This hotel could benefit from a serious freshening up and updating with some designer touches and guest perks.

The staff is always very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are pretty much clean. They do need some airing out or some air freshener. They do need to be updated on charging stations for phones and tablets and laptops.

The property is very old and in desperate need of updating. It smells old. There were several large families staying in rooms near us, and they were very loud…it appeared as though they were long-term residents and their kids had freedom to run up and down the hallways yelling and laughing. This property is not what it used to be years ago, when it was known as THE premier hotel in Fresno. We were beyond disappointed in our stay.
