Howard Johnson Hotel&Conf Cntr by Wyndham Fullerton/Anaheim

Had a white drink (milk?) dripping down the wall, dings all over the walls, side door didn’t lock which wasn’t comforting, the breakfast was nice! Couldn’t use the pool which was the main reason we booked.

I guess the saying “you get what you pay for” is true. While I appreciate we did not pay a lot to stay on property, and I can look past the desperate need for renovations, it should NEVER be acceptable to have dried up food caked onto the wall, along with other dirt stains. It was disgusting and made me question the sanitary practices for the rest of the room and property. As such, we did not feel comfortable eating the free breakfast and wanted to leave as soon as possible. When we tried to address our concerns with one of the managers, his robotic response with no solution or real concern, further solidified the lack of respect or care this property has for its guests. We will not be returning to this property, and we will be forewarning family and friends to steer clear from staying here.

Terrible under construction rooms are old and ugly. Spa was a mud pit. Pictures on Expedia don’t reflect the true condition of the hotel. The only reason I stayed was that the staff was really nice. I would not stay again and plan on canceling my next reservation

The price seems great and all but you get for what you pay of course. The person in the front office was really nice helping us out and all, but the room was SUPER noisy! And the rooms weren’t so clean. The bed was super weird in the first room given and the window wouldn’t shut, the windows aren’t really sealed. I had booked another room for the next night through them personally and it was some how cheaper than Expedia gave it to me. And when we saw the place we decided to cancel our next day reservation and I had trouble at first but then the manager came in and helped us, very kindly. We ended up booking right next to them, holiday inn and it was so much nicer. And their rooms weren’t so noisy, which is weird from this hotel considering it’s literally right next door. But I wouldn’t stay here ever again, no matter how cheap it may be.

The room itself was great. Clean, spacious, no bad smell lingering, walls are a little thin though. The hallways and common areas need a lot of updating. There are wet stains, walls peeling off, looks old and rusty. The breakfast is okay, sometimes there's no sausaged served at all, and no bacon offered. **the worse part is that the POOL IS CLOSED :( That was the main reason I booked this place.

A poorly kept property where almost everything was falling apart. The only highlight was the shuttle bus to Disneyland and back

Our stay was wonderful. Room was cozy and clean. Shuttle to Disneyland included is amazing, only thing is last pick up is 1 hour before park closes ☹️ Continental breakfast is good 😊

The place was being remodeled which it needed.

Well they offer a laundry facility that only takes Quarters. But there is no change machine and front desk doesn’t have change. Ice machine broken. Soda machine card reader broken. Curtains in 141 don’t close all the way. Breakfast on hot food only has eggs. And no syrup for the waffles. And they do not offer a family handicapped room. All there handicapped rooms only have 1 bed so a family cannot stay in same room with each other

The room was very outdated and smelled like mold. Every ice machine on every floor 1st to 4th, was out of order.

This property was dated and things were not kept up very well. We were given a room that was not ready for guests. They switched us to another room. The beds were comfortable. The t.v. Didn’t work. We tried to replace the batteries in the remote but that didn’t fix the issue. The ice machines on all 4 floors were “out of order”. The office said they’d bring us a mini fridge the next day. I have items I needed to keep cold for medical reasons. The fridge never came. The breakfast was decent (except for the day when the waffle bar had no syrup). Overall this stay was okay. I don’t think the property was accurately represented online. The building is older and more run down. The cleaning was okay not good. We were gone all day and only had to come back to sleep. We won’t be returning to this hotel.

The hotel is old and is in a remodel. The room was dingy and old. The paint was chipping and the door had mold that was painted over. On our last night my wife found a cockroach on the bed and I found one on the floor. We were going to leave but it was so late and we were leaving in the morning. We will never again stay at this hotel.

This hotel is in SERIOUS need of a complete makeover. If I wasn’t checking in so late, I would have canceled my room and found another one nearby and asked Hotels.com for a refund. Everything at this location is old, worn, or dirty looking. Carpets are terrible, bathrooms are dirty, whoever has down the painting work doesn’t look like they know what they are doing or just do not care. The pictures in their location profile do not show the true condition of the hotel. We stayed here about 5 years ago, and it was not as “run down” as it is now. It was very basic at that time, but at least it was in fairly decent condition. But, it seems as if the owners/management just let it go and did zero maintenance or upkeep on the hotel. For that, I will not be staying here again.

Unprofessional and lazy. We requested a microwave and refrigerator a week before our reservation date, when we arrived there was neither in the room. We had to call the front desk to make another request. They said they will put the refrigerator and microwave in our room the next morning. Neither were installed the next day when we got back to the hotel. We called the front desk once again. They did not answer the first few times then when they did answer they immediately put us on hold. After 8 minutes of being on hold, the front desk worker, Juan, accidentally took us off hold. He didnt realize that he did so in the first place, also not realizing that we could hear the conversation he was having with a shuttle driver, completely ignoring us, the guests, call. So we left our room while still on “hold”, to go downstairs to confront them. Meanwhile Juan was still talking to the shuttle driver, ignoring the phone call for 15 minutes now. He was unprofessional, lazy, seemed to not be taking us seriously, and should face some sort of disciplinary action or learn how to do his job. Finally, the microwave and refrigerator were put into our room, however, we were leaving the next day so it didn’t even matter. We stayed for a total of three nights so there were plenty of opportunities to put it in our room. I will not say thank you for having us, as it was an frustrating experience.
