This property was absolutely perfect for our week in Emeryville area. I know car break ins are really bad in the Oakland area but luckily our car was safe and they always had an officer in the area. The staff was so sweet and the room was so clean every day. Thank you Hyatt for making our stay so nice!

Hotel is conveniently located. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. It’s right next to the train station- so there’s train noise. Breakfast was generous and included in price. Easy access to highway. Lots of food options at nearby public market.

Stayed for a night before boarding the California Zephyr. The hotel was very conveniently a >5 minute walk to the EMY station. I was able to drop my luggage off before checking in, which let me explore San Francisco. The staff were friendly and quick, and I was in my room within minutes. The room is clean and exactly what you would expect. Breakfast the next morning started at 7 (weekdays and 6:30) and had a selection of cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, pancakes, and a choice of water, apple juice, and orange juice.

Staff was indifferent to guests. The "shelf stable" cream in the coffee bar in the room was curdled. When I told the front desk she just handed me a few more from a drawer. No apologies or concern to make it right. Sheets and pillows were old and uncomfortable. We were nickeled and dimed the whole stay. On our return stay we booked at the Hilton House. We had a much nicer experience for a better value.
