Juniper Springs Resort

The hotel/condo property itself was wonderful. It appears that they are working on the surrounding areas (overflow parking). We loved our condo..the quiet, the trees, the cool nights. Kevin at the front desk was beyond courteous and friendly. You are lucky to have him!

Good location, spacious, clean, great reception staff. Furniture and carpet may need an update.

Mattress were very stiff. The couch sits very low and difficult to get up from. The condo has everything you can ask for, minus a sponge or dishwasher pods. Look forward to returning again

Away from traffic, beautiful surroundings with partial mountain views, nice amenities. Kitchen, refrigerator and freezer were really nice to have. Bed was super comfortable with soft high-quality sheets. Very friendly, helpful staff. Easy to park and go-out of the underground garage. We stayed in July 2025 and it was warmer than we expected during the day (87F / 31C). No A/C in rooms! but fans really helped. Ask for a room that doesn't face west to have a cooler room. We would stay here again.

Pros: clean, straightforward check in/out, good costumer service, comfortable bed, heated pool and hot tub/jacuzzi, cold water in lobby available, big kitchen for a condo, good water pressure, cold refrigerator, near all the Mammoth park shops/eateries/lakes, secure parking garage Cons: No AC and as a female staying on 1st floor I didn’t want to leave window and/or open. They did have a box fan for use that helped a little. Dated interior, but it was clean so that was fine, no ceiling fans so someone like me who struggles regulating body temperature may be uncomfortable, thin scratchy towels Notes: each condo is individually owned per front desk, no breakfast included, no pets allowed, resort fee charged per night plus deposit for room Would start again and request a non-first floor next time

Beautiful location with mountain views...Helpful and knowledgeable staff met our every need. We were checked in by Danny who efficiently provided us an overview of the resort amenities and then showed us a map to our room. The room itself was well organized and equipped with everything you need, even a bath/shower robe. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and you will sleep well breathing in the fresh mountain air. It was a very nice bonus to have an exceptional cleaning staff who will keep your condo looking clean and tidy. You will enjoy your stay at the Juniper Springs Resort.

I wish the gym was updated and more hours to the coffee shop. Overall a great stay though. It was clean, quiet, and had good parking.

Our building had it's own parking through an access gate on the first floor. It was a bit tight getting in with our minivan, but it almost felt like we were "secret agents."

Staff was very helpful. Property was convenient to bike trails. Room was a bit stuffy, even with bedroom fan.

Rude guests throwing parties both nights in the outdoor area made for sleeping difficulties. Check-in was easy and the receptionist was very helpful.

Tried different hotels throughout the years but after finding juniper springs, I fell in love. Take my wife here and now our 1 year old son as well. Unfortunately this time we visited it wasn’t so pleasant, at least from staff. I noticed my deposit didn’t process when I first booked, so I called juniper to correct that but they told me to call Expedia cause they couldn’t process themselves since it was booked through Expedia. I then call Expedia and they said they’d get it settled for me, continued with our call and an agent told me we’re good for booking, I asked if I needed to put my deposit in still but they told me we were all good for full payment when checking in. When I arrived after a 7 hour drive to check in, they couldn’t find my reservation. Other front desk worker told me they cancelled my reservation since I didn’t pay my deposit. I then tried explaining to them that I called both parties multiple times to try to get that resolved and that juniper told me to call Expedia after trying to pay that deposit. She kept rudely telling me “you didn’t pay, you didn’t pay” and then to book at front desk if I wanted to. Worker that was initially helping me told me to book through Expedia again for points, thankfully he was being as helpful as he could be. Wasn’t too pleased with the other worker considering the fact that we love this place and she wouldn’t let me explain myself without being rude, I was left with no options when trying to pay the deposit.

The quietness but it really need an AC in each room for summer. Wind doesnt cut it out.

Outside looks great but the interior is something else. Kinda outdated and the dining chair cushions are all ripped. There was a very visible stain on the bedsheets and we asked housekeeping to change it. She came over with new sheets and initially just placed the sheets on the bed. I guess she saw my facial expression and asked me if I wanted her to change it. Huh??? Isn't that your job??? Overall, not very impressive and not going back.
