Kauai Inn

Our stay was very pleasant. The atmosphere and staff were very comforting.

The staff was super helpful and very friendly. They let us in hours early cleaning the room as soon as someone left. We had been stranded overnight in the airport and hadn’t slept and they let us in not earlier than our check in time and that was really appreciated. They also offered us breakfast when we showed up and let us Lounge around the pool, trying to catch some snoozes, really helpful and greatly appreciated.

I liked the Hawaiian atmosphere and the owner and staff friendliness.

The INN IS OLD but clean. We stayed only 1 night. Staff very friendly and helped us get a taxi booked at 11pm at night for the next morning. The taxi was someone she knew. The grounds are well maitained and lovely, nicepool, but we did not go in it.

Kauai Inn is a unique and one of a kind place. The owner even made coffee for us! It is not part of a chain, but a locally owned place in a quiet setting

Kind and sweet.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kuaui Inn. The staff was wonderful, made us feel right at home. Property grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was Very nice each morning. I would have given this property 5 stars except the room is in need of updating and the cleaning could have been better.. The bathtub had a red strip of tape or something that looked like it had been removed the tub floor was black. The sink was gold plated and it looked dirty but it was just old. They’re brochure Said they freshen up every day and deep clean every three days. The housekeeper did knock and ask if we want our sheets changed which we accepted but they didnt sweep the floors or vacuum or mop. We usually pick up after ourselves everyday but we stayed a week and had to ask for clean towels several times because they didn’t come in to freshen up. This could be such a cute property but they need to update the bathroom areas and improve their housekeeping services.

Fast service

The staff were nice. When I requested a blanket, one was delivered promptly. It was a very light blanket. The A/C is mounted rather high up on the wall, no remote. I selected this property because it advertised breakfast. It was a cold breakfast, no eggs or bacon. Cereal was available. More like a continental breakfast. My shower ran out of hot water about 2/3 of the way through. Finally, the A/C had a blue light and the curtains didn't block the outdoor lighting. Lots of light pollution in the room. Not likely to return to this property.

The road to the property had a bridge out. After finally finding a phone number I reached CHRIS at the desk. He helped us navigate unfamiliar roads to reach the resort.

The property did not have basic facilities. They charged 5 dollars for a bottle of water. The drapes were not covering the windows properly ! There is just two piece of cloth that doesn’t cover the window and it gets really bright in the mornings causing discomfort. They don’t clean the room even after requesting twice

This is a quiet & comfortable piece of paradise with several cute resident kitties. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Peaceful and beautiful

Everyone there was super nice, attentive, helpful, and generally concerned with our happiness and well-being. We feel like we just added to our family! Looking forward to taking another trip back to the Kauai in ASAP.
