Great property for our one night stay!

Great place to “crash” after long flight.

Staff was great and rooms were clean.

Well run hotel away from the hustle

Pool area was wonderful and so was peacefulness. Beds and sheets were super comfy. Towels were very nice. Bathrooms were very dated but everything functional. Nothing fancy but we loved the quiet location

This is an older establishment but maintained well. It is close to the Lihue airport so convenient. Staff are hospitable and friendly. The views of the mountains from the property are wonderful. Bed & room were very comfortable and spacious for 2 people. The in-unit AC cooled the room nicely. Bathtub cold be recoated but worked fine. Linens smelled good. The breakfast buffet is a very good continental one- complete with Chobani yogurt, croissants, & whole pieces of local fruits. Peacocks, roosters, & cats roam around the property, which was fun :) Very comfortable stay!

Great place, super knowledgeable and friendly staff. Just get ready for the chickens to wake you before daylight. The hotel will provide ear plugs but I just turn on the air conditioner for some white noise.

Very laid-back place. Cool old look adds to the ambience. friendly management great setting. Could use better WiFi however if I was on vacation I wouldn't worry about that!

It was a charming, quaint property with friendly & helpful staff! If you want all the latest technologies, this place isn’t for you— but it was perfect for our weekend getaway to relax and just enjoy the laidback island life ❤️

Staff were nice and friendly and the owner a really nice guy with exceptional hospitality!!!! The breakfast was fantastic and convenience in the morning! I would recommend staying in Kauai Inn!

The property has been cutoff from the rest of town by a closed bridge for autos. There are 3 music nights but no bar service or even byob recommendations at checkin . Rooms are somewhat tired. Roosters start crowing at 5am. Rate much to high for property.

Great vintage Hawaiian character, super friendly staff, the room was perfect. Only stayed one night, but already planning to return for a longer stay. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Aloha. Yes the Kauai inn is a very historically old property and the rooms could use an update remodel but are spotless with a good foam mattress and all in perfect working condition. I understand a few rooms have been remodeled. I suggest that you request a room on first floor with a patio out the back. Only a few buildings have patios. Wonderful thick beach towels and even a new beach chair was available to borrow. It is very quiet in an area on a less travelled road to get to but only 10 minutes to reach major shopping, restaurants and airport in the shadow of a big mountain. Compare free parking, a light continental breakfast and lovely uncrowded small pool area to the much more expensive, large crowded hotels. here you can enjoy a real vacation with 1 minute walk over to the canoe club grounds with quiet waters near the harbor. I had the pool area all to myself one late morning in a fully booked hotel while others went site seeing. A perfect location to venture from to reach South Kauai beaches and sites or to North Kauai. I totally recommend and I will be back on my next Trip to Kauai. Mahalo
