La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Abilene Mall

When we got in our room the blind was broken window broken. Called front desk they said they had no rooms to switch so sent the help to tape trash bags on windows.when I got down to front desk ask for manager got a different room. Cold water in shower and tub was cracked. The housekeeper choye was awesome though he went out of our way. Asked to talk to manger when checking out girl was rude said he wasn’t there. The total was expensive for what we got.

Other than the parking lot filling up quickly, this was a great stay. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good. The staff really bent over backwards for us, including letting us park our Harley by the door because of the lack of parking. Totally recommend.

The outside was dirty cigarette butts in the flower pots outside the door. Entrance dirty and front desk could be cleaner.

Couldn’t check in one hour early. The furniture is looking well used. Drawers wouldn’t close on the chest. No curtain for lighting. Only one pull down curtain for blackout. Bathtub had been “painted”. The elevator was nasty dirty. Smelled bad too. Hallway trash cans were over flowing. The floor was sticky in the room and in the hallway. I felt like I was in a Motel 6.

The towels were dirty and the sheets were old and dingy. Heard the housekeeping arguing about someone not doing their job. Something about not caring if the shower curtain was changed but the sheets and towels had to be done. Someone wasn’t doing it. The parking wasn’t great either.

The hotel was not very clean. The staff was not friendly.

There was no chair or couch in the room at all, the lights upon entering didn't work, the tub was rusty - told front desk and they just said ok

I chose the hotel because it was pet friendly and I had to bring my dog. The room was pretty clean, but the pillows were small travel pillows which did not make it comfortable. The rest of the hotel wasn’t very well kept. It was clear that dogs had pooped and had not been cleaned up properly in the hallways.

Property really needs an update..you can still keep property clean even though it’s not new..I don’t know how long it has been since room was cleaned ..everything from dirty countertops to absolutely filthy coffee pot- linen for one person and the oldest towels in the world 😩..first and last stay..

Room was not very clean. There was cobwebs in the corners of the floor. There was dirt and dust on the floor did not look like it had been vacuumed in a while.

Very old, run down, and dirty. My husband had to wipe the walls down from whatever bodily fluid was on it.

My family and I have stayed at many hotels and this was the worst experience we have ever had. When choosing our room I selected 2 adults and 3 children. The first option we were given was a room with a King bed that “Sleeps 5” according to their own description on their website. Having stayed many times at hotels that claimed this same thing, we were under the impression there would be a pull out couch. We usually have our older children sleep on the pull out couch while my husband and I share the bed with our youngest child. Upon arriving, there was a huge space in the room where it was obvious a couch should be but no couch. When we called the front desk to ask about this, the women at the front immediately accused us of lying about how many guests we had. We corrected her and even had our reservation email showing that we had in fact even entered all our kids ages when we got the room. There were no other clean rooms available and everything else was sold out. When we asked for at least some blankets to make a pallet (because there were no extra blankets in the room, never had this happen before either) they gave us 1 blanket to put on the ground. Completely unacceptable and extreme lack of empathy shown to us. The breakfast was also the worst we had ever had, the eggs tasted like fish. The night we got there the water dispenser “wasn’t working”. There are too many things to list them all, but like I said worst hotel we have ever stayed at. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Spend 5 days here and my room was never clean. I work overnight and sleep in the mornings. Because of this i requested for the room to be clean in the afternoon. But all the cleaning staff leaves by 3pm. I had also requested for a late checkout twice and got denied.

The area of the hotel was nice with a verity of places to dine. A lil sad the breakfast at the hotel was over at 9am on Sunday when people like to sleep in on the weekends

The room was in horrible shape, filthy. The bathroom mirror looked like someone had spit toothpaste on it, and there was a black curly hair in the sink, I mean horrible shape. Only one towel in the room, neither TV worked, had to get the maintenance man in, he fixed the TV in the bedroom, promised the TV in front room would be fixed the next day, he’d bring a new remote, he never did. He said when I told him the room was filthy, that they had fired that person that cleaned that room. Not one day did we get our room cleaned, even after speaking with a housekeeper in the hall on the 3rd day telling her we needed clean towels and our room serviced, we came back that evening and nothing was done, not even clean towels. We had told her our room number, and that it was filthy…she also said the maid that cleaned that room was fired. The lamp shades were melted somehow on the bedside table, the molding on the door was hanging off, barely on…the carpet was threadbare…I don’t even know what more to say. They had rented out the entire hotel to two teams of kids for some sporting events…they were totally unruly. The girl that checked us in, she was very nice and apologetic and did her best to get them under control but it was crazy… I will NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER LAQUINTA AGAIN.

Room was badly outdated. Toilet seat was broke Furniture was owed and broken Outside my room was noisy The staff acted as though they had a third grade education. I am almost 65 years old and I will not be back to a La Quinta in.

Easy check in. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Will recommend this La Quinta to family and friends.
