La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Evansville

My stay was great. The entire staff that we met were very nice, polite and professional. The room was clean, including the bathroom. The common area / lobby was very nice. great location near any store or restaurant you could think of. I would definitely stay there again.

Clean, comfortable beds. Our bathroom door wouldn't latch and hinges squeaked so loud it would wake others at night. Hskpg service only one day.

I needed item from house keeping, could not communicate due to no English. Used fitness center employees know the television in fitness center doesn’t work no remote. Has been like that for a very long time. No fruit offered for breakfast. I upgraded for a king family suite. Sheets were not upgraded. Just basic. Disappointed that the price did not match the quality that was described in amenities.

The rim was nice. The service desk was very friendly and helpful. However, the air conditioning didn't work enough. I had to sleep with the windows open all night to get it cool enough in the room. Also, the water temperature in the shower was horrible. It went from hot to cold to hot multiple times in a 10 minute span. I wasn't even able to take a descent shower.

I booked this because the reviews were excellent. It’s perhaps an anomaly and a mistake by the property, I don’t like being overly critical. But our stay was pretty frustrating. The bedding was dirty. There were hairs all over the sheets and the towels had several hairs on them. It’s not a huge deal but man it grosses you out! When I asked for more towels, it seemed like it was an inconvenience and the towels I got were very well worn out and also less fresh. It was pretty disgusting overall. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Everything was great until the morning of check out. Check out is 11, but starting at 9:00 I got knocks on the door every 15-20 minutes asking if I had checked out yet. Very frustrating.

The hotel was ok ....not horrible but not spectacular either. I had to ask for extra towels(we were given 2). The pull out bed did not have any bedding supplied in the room. The pillows were flat so you needed several per person. I again, had to go to the front desk and ask for my pillows. The guy on duty said he couldn't find any. The room also did not have a hairdryer. I was told it should be hanging in the bathroom. There was not a hairdryer to be found. The hot breakfast was pretty good but I am glad we only stayed for one night.

Sufficient for a short stay.. Only complaint - I don't think the fitted sheet on the pull out sofa had been cleaned.

Shower was dirty and lacked hot water. Also didn’t drain. Somebody had left an alarm clock set for too early. On checking at 4:00 pm, no desk staff in sight or for ten minutes.

We stayed at this location quite a few years ago, and were excited with the renovations since then. The beds were comfortable (even the pillows!) and the room was clean and comfortable. I feel like the beds could be a few inches farther from the nightstand. When using chunky block chargers they are right against the mattress which doesn't feel safe. I love that the night stand outlets and USB ports, but I'd love USB-C ports too. The breakfast was good as well. We were on the first floor, and the occupants above us were loud, I think there were kids running from end to end in the room. Not only the running but someone up there had a very heavy footstep and we could hear that constantly. We couldn't hear voices or music or anything like that, just the footsteps. I wouldn't think twice about staying here again.
