The hotel staff lets other people outside of guest park under the pavilion and will use it as a parking spot!!! Making to where you can not get out! Then there was an altercation with a driver because she chose to drive reckless almost side swiping my vehicle and almost hitting the back of another’s vehicle!!! I was very upset!!!

The hotel was sort of odd. The man at the front desk asked me 4 times if I had pets which started to agitate me. They have you fill out a clipboard with the same information you already provided at booking as well as your car information due to it being behind a gated area for parking which was nice to know hopefully they stops any issues with break ins being as it is in Memphis. It was in a business district type area off the interstate so not much around for food other than fast food so we had to travel for food. The room was very weirdly designed. The bed was very firm so if you like those types of beds it’s nice. The pillows though were the size of couch throw pillows so disappointing there and the fitted sheet on the bed wasn’t very smooth. The room kept fluctuating in temperature all night so I had to change back and forth between heat and cold. It had no dresser or anything such as for the sake of putting clothes in drawers and the “closet” available if you can call it that was very small. The fridge wasn’t very cool so we didn’t attempt to bring any food back to store. Overall the stay wasn’t bad and worked for a one night stay for a doctors appointment early the next morning but as I said the room just felt odd.

My stay was great

The check in was good. There was no one at the front desk when we came in, but I think they have a camera to show them when someone approaches the counter so the wait wasn’t long. The room was nice, but not excellent. The AC made a noise that was impossible to fall asleep with, and the road noise (and hall noise) was pretty loud. The kitchenette had some accouterments but not a ton and the dishes in the drawers weren’t fully cleaned. There was no soap to wash them with and when we asked at the front desk, they didn’t have any either. They gave us plastic utensils, but then touched them without washing their hands, so a germophobe might have an issue with that. The TVs were smart TVs, which was really nice, so we could watch our streaming services. My friend liked the bed because it was very firm - I did not. The bathroom looked lovely, but the sink faucet handle kept popping off and there isn’t much elbow room in the shower. Oh, and the painting on the wall had someone who looked like Cecil from “Archer.” (Weird but not bad) All in all, not a bad experience, but definitely a disappointment after driving for over 12 hours.

When we arrived, the hotel was clean, well gated, and looked good. The staff was very friendly throughout the whole 2 day stay. The room was large, clean and very updated. The room offered many amenities. Security of your car and yourselves was well thought out. The pool was large enough and very clean. The breakfast dining area was large with plenty of seating. The breakfast was plentiful, hot, and good. They have a great coffee bar that provides many types of coffee. The server was overly helpful when providing you assistance, even baked cookies for us as a treat. Checkout was easy. The whole stay was very good and we will be staying each time we come to Memphis.

Good staff Clean room

The staff needs to work on not policing people of color, especially women. As a woman of color who travels frequently, I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life. I was constantly harassed and asked for my room number and name anytime I left my room. I felt uncomfortable sharing this information in front of other guests as well since I travel alone. I felt like I was on house arrest and was being stereotyped because I am black woman. I came into town for my birthday and the staff didn't even say happy birthday as I came in with balloons. Instead, I was questioned about where I was staying though I had already been staying there the night before. It was ridiculous how many times I was asked what room I was in or my name. The room was fair though I did have a stink bug creep by the bed during the night. If you're a person of color I would recommend staying in other places where you'll be welcomed.

The property is next to the highway, which you will hear the constant noise of trucks and cars driving by, but it was the most peaceful stay I've had in Memphis
