La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Riverwalk

I would recommend this place for families. They have a pool that is open till 10 pm also There is a denny's on the same parking lot for a late night snack. The location is very convenient for nightlife.

Room not properly prepared at check-in: No pillows or blankets provided for the sleeper sofa; my children had nothing to sleep with. • Sagging, uncomfortable bed on the first night—unable to rest properly. • Repeated delays and miscommunication from front desk (Doreen said she didn’t know when items would be delivered). • Housekeeper entered room without knocking on May 4, appeared agitated and confused, didn’t know what to bring, and was aggressive with his cleaning. • Housekeeper banged the vacuum into walls, rushed through cleaning, and vacuumed the bathroom floor instead of mopping, leaving it sticky. • Housekeeper stated the lobby “never communicates” with him and that he was “just glad to be off Monday.” • Supervisor Gabby acknowledged the sticky floor and tried to clean it by spraying chemicals on a cloth and wiping it with her foot—unsanitary and ineffective. • Pool was cloudy and unusable, and Doreen dismissed it by saying “it’s just the weather.” • Multiple miscommunications between managers (Lydia, Ashley) about what had been processed—refund, parking, etc. • Fire alarm incident on May 6: • First announcement said it was a false alarm, • Second one said to evacuate via stairs, • I panicked, rushed down 8 flights of stairs with arthritis and other health conditions, • Exit gate was locked, causing even more panic, • No assistance or staff guidance was provided, • GM Ryan casually dismissed it and never apologized. • Jessica Daily (Operations Manager)

It was very convenient to Riverwalk and bars locally. Been her lots of times but this time a/c wasn’t adjustable so we were pretty cold. Bed in Room 1222 was very hard and not comfortable. Area around elevators needed to be clean. We also stayed in room 922 and this was perfect can’t complain. We will be back bc we like the area and SA! Everyone had great customer service!!

Short walk to riverwalk, $32.00 a night for parking is a little extreme when other hotels don't charge as much.

It was good!

Hotel is located close to convention center, San Antonio river walk, shopping and dining. Rooms were clean, staff very friendly and helpful, laundry services a plus, and a nice pool.

It was hard for my family to stay. There was no parking by 7PM so you can forget going to dinner besides DoorDash or walking. The elevators always had a line and it would take 3-4 times before we were able to get on the elevator. We were suppose to have a double queen but only had double doubles and so it was highly uncomfortable

Came from Houston for a basketball tournament parking was bad and charged arm and leg paid $600 for a basic Room smh never again

Everything was good .. just let the personal at lobby when check in that you need clean your room daily .. if you want .. the hotel ist awesome.. clean .. walkable to riverwalk and mall ..

I like the breakfast buffet in the mornings. Front staff was very attentive.

Great location to enjoy the downtown San Antonio area. Excellent breakfast included.

Easy access to everything Riverwalk. Air conditioner did not cool like it should have. I complained about a green and blue light coming from the unit, causing light bouncing in room at night. I wss told "it couldnt be that bad". It was very annoying trying to fall asleep with that going on. Very disappointed with the front desk response.
