People smoking pot at parking and parking way to expensive

Room and amenities were clean. Shower didn’t properly drain so stood in half a foot of water while showering, ice machines didn’t work very well and there was only one sometimes two elevators running. Good for a overnight stay but not much longer.

So far everything was okay in the property. Unfortunately they do seem to overcharge for parking which was $35 a night every night.

THE FIRST ROOM WE FOUND A BED BUG NOT A LOT BUT STILL, THEY WERE VERY NICE AND SWITCHED OUT THE ROOM IMMEDIATLEY, WHICH WAS VERY APPRECIATED. hOTEL WAS OK , WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. STAFF AT DESK AMAZING!

The Little Good - Clean room. Walking distance to Riverwalk. The Lot of Bad - Out of 3 elevators, only 2 worked consistently and there was a point where only 1 was working. Lots of elevator waiting. They were also always wet during pool hours, but that is mostly because, for whatever reason, people don't seem to know how to dry off some before getting on the elevator. Not the hotel's fault. The breakfast variety was an issue. Same meat every day (sausage link), only white bread for toast (no bagels, english muffins, etc) and one type of muffin (blueberry). Also, the breakfast area is SEVERELY overcrowded. I was charged a higher rate at checkin that what was quoted on Expedia. The front desk corrected it that day, but the extra was charged to my card again when I checked out. Still waiting on that to get fixed. We'll see. The GIANT Ugly - PARKING! It is a total rip off for mult-day stays. While $34/night for hotels in this location is a little high but not that out of whack, there is no in/out. The way the parking is setup, when you leave the first time in a day, you pay the $34 and get a new ticket when you come back. If you leave more than once, it is $20 each time. You can end up spending more on parking than the room. Also, there is not enough parking for the hotel capacity. I had to park in another garage 4 blocks away on my last night. There are much better options in downtown SA. They might be a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Did not appreciate that I had to pay for parking and was in notified about the parking fee. Also, personnel at check-in counter were not very friendly nor informative.

Absolutely disgusting. Local drug addicts hanging out in the back of lobby. Room was dirty. Woke up with a rash. Room stunk. Bathroom was NOT clean.

Loved it all exept the change on the parking

The parking wasn’t specific about getting charged everytime you left and the elevators went down to one and during the morning of leaving it took forever just to get an elevator to go down.

Beware, parking at this hotel is a RIP OFF! You have to pay every time you go out, you can end paying more for parking that for the actual dirty room. TRU by Hilton and SpringHill by Marriott are just 300 feet and 500 feet away and they have better parking options. Hotel excuses saying that "we recently changed the parking system" but that's not an excuse, a rip off is a rip off and that is what this dirty hotel does. Think twice before staying here. Besides that, the climate control is a mess. Had to wake up twice at 2 am and 4 am to lower the temperature because you just can't leave it at a certain temperature and expect to stay like that.

This is by far the worst experience ever!!!!!! Please save your time and money and energy. First of all the PARKING. Know this you will have to pay for parking $34.00 overnight. So inconvenient the parking spots are small as hell went around in circles trying to park over 40min. Finally got the room. Stinks like humidity hope as hell in the room. ABSOLUTELY NO complimentary hand soap at the least nothing at all shampoo etc that other hotels offer. This place offers “0” of that for the rooms!!! NEVER WILL GET a room here. Regret it so bad!! If I could cancel and get a refund and go somewhere else I would trust me ! For you to charge a $100 deposit “for any damages” lol I think the rooms have nothing of that value. Another note the beds are hard as hell.

This place charged me 400 dollars for a smoking fee , NOBODY had smoke in that room i went with my 2 boys and husband! I went to front office if they can do something about it because its not fair how i went for a family vacation and end up with -$400 without any proof of somebody smoking! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Friendly staff

The staff is always friendly, and hotel is clean ,however anytime there are events they allow people NOT staying at hotel to utilize parking for a fee. This is second time stayed there that upon coming in from day there was no room for me to park, had to utilize back lot that was away from hotel and no lighting. When i informed front they said all cars in lot were people staying at property, well at midnight all cars were gone. Just do better for guests actually staying there maybe save spaces for guests and only sell what is available , or how about put them in back lot , front lot for guests. I was there for a 5 day stay .
