La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Wichita Falls - MSU Area

First of all we always stay here when we come here. This is the last time I will be here. The door was messed up. We got woke up around 3 am with people running up and down hall. Up and down stairs being so loud. Friday night and Saturday! We spend a fortune to stay somewhere and you can’t even get sleep at night. The air conditioning kept kick off cause the batteries were low and it was hot. We had to call for them to put batteries in the room.

I’ve stayed at a lot of La Quinta Hotels. This one by far was nicest from staff to cleanliness to accommodations. Inside and out the hotel was clean and modern. King bed was super comfortable. The staff were very kind upon check in and when we had questions about the local area. We travel with our dog and this hotel was the best we have been to with her. Pet fee was cheap, when we arrived the sign stated $25 for pet fee for every 2 days of stay. Plus, there was ton of grass around the hotel and a PetCo a 3 minute walk away. Lastly, it the hotels location was central to so many restaurants, Lake Witchita and shopping.

The room looked clean but it was not. The sheets were turned inside out. The pillows smelled of sweat. The tub has soap scum. The ceiling above the shower had bad water leakes from the room above. The restroom vent was full of lent. I was very disappointed.

The cleanliness of the room was very good and the room was tidy each day during my stay. It was great. Hot breakfast was more than what I expected. My suite did not have a separate sitting area as it was shown in the picture. The kitchen area with bar stool was perfect.

I booked with you guys butnwhen i got there I was told that my booking was expired because my card was declined. They told me that I could still stay at the hotel but would have to pay them, I ussed the same card that i booked with but had to pay. 150.00 more than what I initially had to pay. The worker even complained because I booked through Expedia.

The elevator was slow or not in working order. Other than that it was good

Everything was good but the fire alarm keep going off in the middle of the night they were having problem It was fixed and did not go off again

I stayed Thursday night to Sunday. The elevators needed to be rebooted at least 6 times though out my stay. One evening an individual using a walker was waiting on the third floor for the elevator to bring her down to the main floor. Who knows how long she was waiting. The vent in the bathroom had plenty of lint covering. Our suite microwave was not cleaned. Food stuck on the counter tops and something spilled on the inside of the refrigerator.

Overall the property was nice but unfortunately there was no hot water it was barley warm.

I have stayed at this location a few times and never really had an issue. As normal I travel with my 2 dogs. I was check in with them and was out in the 4th floor. Which I found out is the quiet floor. I was called and told to return because my dogs were barking. I was 45 minutes away with family and had to come back. Why would you allow dogs in a quiet floor and not expect them to bark? Next they have there employees washing thier personal laundry in the facility washers. Gross! They walked it in the side door. Won’t be back will try somthing better

The bed pillows were extremely uncomfortable…..made for a long night.

It took 5-10 minutes for the hot water to make it to the 3rd floor. It seemed like the temperature of the room fluctuated a lot, despite our not adjusting the thermostat. It was clean and well maintained though, which keeps the rating decent.

The first room we were given, had such a strong odor of cleaning supplies or air freshener, that it triggered an allergy attack with both me and my son. We had to ask to change rooms, which they accommodated. After getting into our second room, we were so tired and just wanted to go to bed for the night. There was some dog hair on the bathroom floor, but I did not make a big deal of it. I checked the beds and they “looked” clean, however, in the morning, I had dog hair all over my black pajamas. We did not have a dog! Upon further investigation, there was dog hair everywhere and several areas of dried pet stains on the tile floor. The room had not been cleaned properly, and I even went to the front desk in my pajamas to talk to the manager and show them. They were unwilling to do anything to compensate. We checked out around 9 AM, as soon as we could get our things packed. I tried to talk to the management again to have the second night of our reservation canceled and refunded, since there was no way we could stay another night in that hotel. The management was still was unwilling to work with us on a resolution. We will continue to escalate our grievances to corporate and provide the pictures if necessary. Absolutely the worst hotel stay ever!

I wanted to enjoy the hot tub but it wasn't working.

Overall great stay. Carpet in the hallway was stained and room doors are so heavy they slam when closing which made sleeping difficult with late arrivals across the hall. We heard all the talking in hallway and slamming doors. Walls are thin or doors need better insulation around them. Overall, comfortable and the room was clean.
