La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Missoula

Room was nice however the bathroom needs an update. Vent fan is extremely loud and comes on with the light. The door to the bathroom will not close, sticks!!

The first room they put us in was not suited for anyone to be in, it had been destroyed, receptionist was not very corrgale, no explanation why she had put us in that toom to start with,

The toilet backed up and they didn’t have maintenence on site, we had to use a plugger ourselves. There were dogs barking for over an over after midnight. The check in clerk was not very pleasant to deal with as well.

Flew to Idaho to buy a car, driving it home. Stopped in this absolutely beautiful part of the country. We looked through the site and were gobsmacked by the cost of the rooms in Missoula. (My hotel in Times Square didn’t cost this much!) It seemed that all of the hotels were in the same ballpark range so we chose this LaQuinta. The room itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Everything you would expect at a La Quinta. And-bonus!-just outside our window about 15 feet, there ran a lovely little stream. We slept with the window open so we could hear it as we drifted off to sleep. Now for the cons- The building was under construction and because of this, there was no cantina for snacks or sundries. There IS a gas station about 100 feet away but brace yourself for the sticker shock! It would appear that everything in this beautiful town is outrageously expensive. Like I said, the town is beautiful. And the room in itself was nice. And although we’d LOVE to come back when we can stay longer and really explore the town, it just doesn’t make good financial sense for us and our situation. (I never thought a vacation in Manhattan would be less expensive than a vacation in Missoula.)

Very nice hotel, convenient to the freeway and friendly staff!

They need to repair the broken items. Hot tub, ice maker, waffle maker, shaky elevator, worn carpet.

Staff were very friendly and allowed us to enjoy the pool just a bit longer due to a late check-in. Breakfast was great. Many options, which we like since we always travel with kids and adults. Check in and check out was easy peasy. Rooms were clean and they provided extra towels and blankets upon request. Most likely choose this location again.

The bed was really uncomfortable. My allergies really kicked up in this hotel for some reason. The hot tub wasn’t working and parking was hard with a trailer not enough room for bigger rigs. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was ok.

The room itself was ok. However, it smelled like someone was smoking and there were gnats everywhere. The entire building had gnats. Otherwise, it was fine for the night.

For the price (over $200/night), I expected a lot nicer facilities. The hot tub was broken, which was one of the reasons we booked it. The breakfast buffet was good and the river view from our room was the highlight and helped make up for the outdated facilities.

Convenient but needs upgrades and extremely overpriced
