the air conditioner did not work on the Hottest day of the year no one would come and look at it... the drains in the bathroom would not drain and that is even the tub. it cost to park your car which I think was wrong. after paying what they charged for the room. the breakfast was sold out by 7:30 am it does not help to be an early riser. here at Little America.

Well everyone… it wasn’t horrible, but I don’t think I would ever stay here again.
We had car troubles in Colorado, which set us back a day on our trip home to California. In looking for hotels in Salt Lake, we came across The Little American as a decently priced option. I had been looking at this hotel previously, and it looks really nice! We decided to book a room.
The staff was very nice and helpful, which is great. The location is really good, as well. But wow, this place is a MAJOR catfish. It is nothing more than a glorified motel. I think you can upgrade/ book a room specifically in the tower, but if you aren’t planning to do that, definitely stay somewhere else. The “garden view” rooms are separate buildings compromised of outdated rooms that need major facelifts and renovations. Room wasn’t dirty but I wouldn’t say it was necessarily clean, either. Everything about the place is just about average.
It definitely wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed at, but after having a difficult few days and looking forward to my stay here, it definitely left a lot to be desired.
