Fantastic hotel clean rooms spotless garden area was kept to a very high standard tracks 3 mins away with free travel within certain areas very happy

We drove by The grand American and thought it was our hotel so we got a little disappointed coz the hotel is a few cottages on the outside, not particularly appealing. But the lobby is grand and the room is spacious, as shown in the photos. We love the double sinks.

We drove by The grand American and thought it was our hotel so we got a little disappointed coz the hotel is a few cottages on the outside, not particularly appealing. But the lobby is grand and the room is spacious, as shown in the photos. We love the double sinks.

This is a very nice hotel with large, quiet rooms, comfortable beds and furnishings. There are a few things they could do to make it excellent instead of good. First, when you arrive and are trying to get through the heavy brass doors with your luggage, there are no doormen or anyone to help you get your bags rhrough the doors. Secondly, their in-room coffee has only powdered creamer. A hotel at this level & price should have shelf-stable half and half. Lastly, if you park in their garage and leave you keycard at the hotel you can't get out if the garage and there is no indication what to do. So while trying to keave

The only thing that is frustrating is the check in process. I have stayed multiple times and always have 5 people standing in check in area but only one or two checking people in.

We loved the breakfasts on site and across the street at Grand America. The property is beautiful inside and out. The tower rooms are quiet, comfortable, and spacious. The balconies are tiny with no room for chairs. We walked several blocks during the day and felt safe. We noticed homeless encampments across the street on our way back via Uber at night. We wouldn't walk the area at night. We will stay again.
