We drove by The grand American and thought it was our hotel so we got a little disappointed coz the hotel is a few cottages on the outside, not particularly appealing. But the lobby is grand and the room is spacious, as shown in the photos. We love the double sinks.

After missing our flight due to 7 and a half hours of traffic congestion the first thing I noticed was the friendliness of the staff which makes a huge difference after a terrible day of travel. Food and drinks at coffee house were great, service was a little slow but like I said staff attitude really makes a difference. Shower pressure was great, no fan in bathroom. Rooms were clean

From check in to check out the staff was fantastic. The rooms and amenities were very clean and the restaurants were reasonably priced and food was delicious.

Beautiful hotel resort in SLC. Expansive room and bathroom with very comfortable bed and linens. I appreciated that thermostat could be adjusted to half a degree! Main drawback is the design of the shower door. It resulted in a huge puddle on the floor that soaked the bath mat. Potential slip hazard. Must pay to park whether ypu valet or not and you have to use your hotel key to exit the property. My concern with that is in event of emergency exiting would be an issue.

The property was beautiful! Front desk exceptionally friendly and efficient. The room was extra large and nicely appointed. The room, the halls, all public areas spotless and extremely well appointed. We loved this hotel and will definitely return!

Loved the character of the hotel and the crown molding everywhere was beautiful. Lots of dining options too.

Pleasant staff, peaceful, comfort, luxury

Fantastisk, velholdt hotel. Man tror, at billederne er for gode til at være sande - men det er super flot. Vi boede i “motel”-delen og blev opgraderet til et Premium værelse. Dejligt med fitness + pool. Gode parkeringsmuligheder (dog mod betaling). Fin beliggenhed i Salt Lake City.

I liked how it had its own flair and uniqueness. It keeps the original architectural structure of the building through its decorations and features. The room was very neat and clean! The view from the tower was incredible! It was jice and quiet! The staff were super friendly amd nice! They should have offered sowm chocolate and champagne or sparkilung cider since we were there for our weddding anniversary.
