Friendly staff and very attentive. Clean, roomy and high ceiling. Downtown and near restaurants, Powell bookstore and cafes.

Shower had mold everywhere. Carpet in lobby and common areas was absolutely filthy with stains. Front desk staff (interacted with 3 different individuals) was not pleasant. Front desk called the room at 2am asking if we called 911 and then insisted we might need help. We were sleeping. When asked about the issue the next day, the desk agent said “it happens” and “yada yada yada” dismissing the issue. Bed and room were comfortable. However, housekeeping did not come one day as requested. 2/5 and that’s being generous. Especially if you can overlook being accosted by a fentanyl junkie at 10pm as soon as you walk out the hotel.

Stayed in room 118. I did not know this was an ADA room so the bathroom especially was very strangely laid out. The bed was fantastic and the room size was great, but we seemed to be right over the dumpster area so at 4:30am when the dumpsters were rolling in and out we were wide awake! Other than that rude awakening everything else was super nice! Thanks for the wine!

Good location in the Pearl district but rooms are a bit rundown. The phones in the room didn’t work so while there is a restaurant that provides room service I had to go pick it up myself since I couldn’t order from the room

Nice room, excellent service, quite comfortable - wifi rather weak

I like the hotel, nice room, comfy bed, front desk people are very friendly and helpful. Coffee all the time, but not hot sometimes. Minor complaints: 1. The elevator is super slow. 2. Need a recycle bin in the room.

We were in town for a few days visiting colleges and we enjoyed our stay. It was central to lots of restaurants, making it easy to walk. Having coffee and hot water in the lobby at all times was a plus. Staff were all friendly. It's an old building, but they have done a nice job renovating it. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Older hotel but big rooms.

Staff very friendly and helpful with special requests. Liked the large space of the Executive King Suite, appreciate the kitchenette, and dining area. Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely book again when we return to Portland.

The staff was really attentive and great. My dog was very welcomed as well. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy at night.

Well located downtown hotel. Many dining options in area. Nice wine and cheese hour at 5PM.

Lobby area and entrance carpet was beer spilled

There is bad smell in room and on floor.

A really nice boutique hotel right in the Pearl. Close to many dining options and Powells books.

The property was in a perfect location for walking around downtown Portland. The hotel itself though seemed pretty outdated. No streaming or rental service in the room, every time the elevator moved you could hear loud clanking sounds. For one night it was okay but I wouldn’t stay there for longer than that.
