We came to the MGM Grand Detroit for our 31st Wedding Anniversary. From check in to dinner to check out was an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The quality of the room was outstanding and I cannot say enough about the high level of service and fiod quality at D. PRIME. This property really made us feel special on our important day!

The room and hotel itself were very clean and comfortable. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. I just wish the room would've had a complimentary fridge and microwave.

I liked the fact that you could not use the elevator unless you had a room key.

We stayed for 4 nights, had a Luxury King bed room and enjoyed the fact that it was easy to book, loved the needing a key card to access the hotel and need the key again to access the rooms. The room itself was nice and clean and the shower was my favorite! I lived how hot the water gotten and the fact the shower was huge enough for 2 separate shower heads. Loved it! The downfall was being charged for the mini bar items we wasn’t aware of! The sign is so little that we didn’t notice that the mini fridge is weighted and if u remove anything even the candy items, it will be charged to your room like you taken it even if u place it back. However the young lady at the front desk was able to revere the charges. Only hicccp but a good stay.

Nice hotel but didn’t like they don’t allow children under the age of 14 in the pool.
I would’ve booked somewhere else if I had known of their policy.
Room end tables weren’t wiped down and was dirty.

There is no Variety of food for a family. Have to be21 to access the food court.
No local shuttle service.
Room was dirty. Found fake eyelashes stuck to wall.

We had to change rooms 3 times. We paid to much money to get a room where you can’t even look out the window due to maintenance floor and equipment on the outer premises.
The 2nd room was ok. However, the toilet needed repair and the rent was subpar cleaned. The next day we moved to a new room. The room was very clean. The view was good. However, we couldn’t purchase a movie. We tried for 15 minutes. We waited for maintenance to arrive in the room another 25 to 40 minutes. The tv never worked for us to purchase a movie. My husband called the service desk for us to get a credit on our bill. We were told yes. We never received anything. Overall, communicating with the staff is a superior grade. The location was excellent!

I liked the shower. I didnt like the tv channels. I didnt like that it wasnt a mini refrigerator or a microwave for the price of the room that should be included. It's cheaper hotels that offer those items all the time.
