The only thing I would suggest is perhaps some sort of room freshener. Being a dog friendly hotel (I also am a dog owner) my room smelled stale.

I was very disappointed in the overall quality of the property. We stayed there a few years ago and we're very impressed. It seems management has done nothing to keep the property up. Stains on the flooring, grime on the elevator floor and worn furnishings come to mind. Won't stay there again.

Carpet not vacuumed. Food crumbs were noticeable on carpet. Visible coating of dust on flat surfaces. The hot water coming out of the faucets was so hot that I was concerned that children or older guests could accidentally be scalded.

This year's stopover was not very pleasant. The room we booked reaked of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. The night shift desk attendant was very nice and accommodating. He found us a new room. When I opened the curtains in the morning there was an open half drank alcoholic beverage sitting on the window sill. The morning desk attendant was more interested in standing outside and smoking than doing his job. The lobby floor was filthy. The breakfast bar was pretty slim. No plain milk or cream for coffee, only flavored. We stayed here 2 years ago on our way home to Ohio and it was fine. After this time we don't plan on staying again.

Was clean and comfortable. Stopped for a quick over night stay to break up a long trip. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. It didn’t bother me and my kids are teenagers, but there is a strip club within walking distance which may not be appropriate for younger kids, however, we did not hear any noise or inappropriate activity from it.

This place was amazing. We've stayed in so many affordable motels over the years, and this was by far the nicest of all of them. Extra roomy. Even had a closet for hanging your clothing. The television got lots of channels. It had an ironing board, hair dryer ... all the things a lot of other motels skimp on. Nice breakfast. Waffles! Extra large room. Very comfy. You don't want to leave.
