Really cute, updated motor lodge with excellent bar and food. The burrata and Bibb lettuce salad was excellent for dinner, as was the gourmet yogurt parfait for breakfast. Great location in a revitalized area of Boise, very close walk to the shops and restaurants.

Really appreciated the ease of checking in and that it was a 20 minute walk to the state capitol.

Restaurant was wonderful for dinner. Coffee was da bomb in the morning. Really great place to stay!

Friendly staff, great bar, fun patio, clean property. Walk downtown or take one of their bike along the river. Will stay again.

The Modern is my favorite hotel in Boise. The staff is nice, the design is great, the restaurant and bar are excellent. I recommend that every one stay here, unless I am in Boise and need a room. The Modern is the illest!

Beautiful remodeled property. Love that they refurbished an old run down and made it wonderful!

Has a cool style and atmosphere

The hotel was clean and safe. The breakfast was made to order. They offered indoor and outdoor seating. I was pleasantly surprised by hotel.

What a delightful hotel right in the heart of downtown Boise. The staff and service was first rate — friendly, professional, informed people. Had a delicious dinner at their restaurant (yum!) and the complimentary breakfast was terrific. Everything worked like a charm — good air conditioning, pristine room, etc. If I get back to Boise, I will stay at the Modern again. terrific!!

Modern had a great vibe. Staff is insanely competent and friendly. Great bar. The place probably isn't for everyone but for a "transformed" travellodge motel it is pretty damn cool. I'd stay again and very easy access to the airport and access to the freeways around Boise. And a 5 minute walk from all the trendy restaurants.

The shower was perfection after a week in the river. Great remodel. Food was terrific!

The location was great, staff was great, and food and drinks at the restaurant were great.

Late arrival and the wonderful night agent assisted getting me settled. Slept in peacefully the following morning and enjoyed a fabulous breakfast ((included) in the morning. The bar is well known locally for an amazing menu and rotation of themes. Very fun! Small but classy in the heart of modern old Boise. The patio scene is a must in the summer.

Super fun hotel, excellent accommodations! Willl definitely book again!
