From the moment we got out of our car, the Morris Inn made us feel welcome

The room was very clean and the restaurant at the hotel/room service was good. Notre Dame charm throughout.

Morris Inn is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful, quaint place to stay when visiting Notre Dame. Location is perfect. The rooms are clean and fresh, the premises well maintained. This was my second stay at the hotel. However, the overall attitude of the staff did not quite match the level and experience they are striving for. We were hoping to check in a little earlier than the 4 PM check in time due to complications on our trip, and I called in the morning about this. The staff member was curt and without regret told me that that is highly unlikely to happen. And in fact, when we came to the hotel at 4:15, we still had to wait another 15 minutes to get to our suite. No one spoke to us about breakfast upon check-in. Turned out that you really need a reservation for a table for breakfast! So on a Monday morning, we ended up waiting, standing in the lobby for a good 15 minutes to be seated. The three young hostesses were frankly arrogant when interacting with us. Thank you, please, sorry to have kept you waiting, none of these phrases were part of their vocabulary. They did not even reply to me when we left after breakfast and I wished them a good day. Blatantly unfriendly, felt very awkward. Checking out went well. But overall, it was a clear mismatch, the hotel facilities are all about timeless style, quality and hospitality while the staff was mediocre at best. I hope the management will look into it and bring the customer service to where it needs to be.

My trip was a short trip, but seeing what I was going to miss and the layout of the area, I would definitely go back. It is a popular spot due to its walkable location to the major stops on campus. Classic hotel setting, historical campus, super friendly staff, great bar top at their restaurant (make reso's for a table).

It was our first time staying here, and it did not disappoint. What a lovely place! The room was very comfortable with beautiful furnishings. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay

We chose Morris Inn as my daughter was attending the softball camps 01/17-01/18/25. LOVED IT! Within walking distance of the Indoor Training facility, the batting cages, restaurants, etc. We walked the campus one day to take in all the sites. It was wonderfully convenient having Rohr's right on site, delicious and very reasonably priced (we highly recommend the burger and caprese sandwich) - but there are great restaurants right across in Eddy Street Commons (O'Rourkes) too and again, within walking distance. The little coffee shop in the lobby is great, and has plenty of yummy options. We didn't not need to rent a car - just an Uber ride to and from the airport. Definitely consider a stay at Morris Inn if you're visiting Notre Dame!

Very comfortable bed and walkable to my daughter's hall

This was the perfect stay for my husband and I! We were in town for a women’s basketball game. We were greeted with parking options as we pulled up. Check in was easy and they were kind and informative! Could walk campus and to the game. Room was gorgeous and relaxing! Went to the restaurant after the game. They were busy but we sat at the bar and served immediately. Food was good and service was even better. In the morning we went to the coffee shop. Very cute and convenient. Sat in the lounge. It is the most relaxing and cozy hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Even students were in the lounge area studying. We will be back!

Loved lobby & the restaurant. Room was very comfortable, plenty of hangers in closet & extra drawers. Good lighting & seating in room. Appreciated the bottled water & coffee.

Best place to visit Notre Dame University!

Staff was very friendly and helpful, as they always are. The gingerbread representation of the basilica still looks great. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Excellent service starting from the valet attendants at the door, desk staff, housekeepers, and dining/bar staff! Rooms are well appointed, quiet, and comfortable.

Easily one of the best stays we've had. The overall experience and comfort level was absolutely superior. You know when you've had a great experience and you want to tell people about it...this was one of those times! Highly recommended.
