Motel 6 Fort Lauderdale, FL

This was the worst condition of a hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Dirty and chaotic. Sketchy neighborhood. Felt VERY unsafe!! Men checking us in were unkempt, not professional and looked like they just got back from a soccer game!

Customer service was outstanding!!

This Motel 6 tries but the carpets in the hallway were dirty, the room small, and there was a fight amongst severaly residents at 3 am in the morning in the hallway. I believe this Motel 6 has many permanent residents. Likely people living there on some kind of assistance. It was close to a McDonalds which was good because we got there at 11 pm and needed to eat something. The front desk clerk was as helpful as he could be but the room number and wifi password was written on a scrap of paper.

Rough hotel. Dogs barking in the hallways, room we got smelled like urine. Beds were on metal platforms/spring boards and made it look like a prison cell bed. Although the staff were not rude, being unable to provide more than one key for a party of four, and writing the room number on a piece of paper torn from the corner of another sheet did not seem professional at all. Was not able to spend the night there because of the poor condition of the room.

I request smoke free property, and it was putrefied in tobacco, they couldn’t change because they didn’t have more rooms available and they didn’t return my money

the property was dirty. the stairs smell like urine. Long line at the front desk to check-in, and rooms are not ready at 3 pm. The room's pillow is very thin the bed in not comfortable. I have seen a better motel 6

Stayed for one night, very clean room in a convenient location! The staff handled the crazy amount of people well.

Smelled like wet dog in the hallway and the room smelled musty. WiFi was terrible

Hotel called day of and cancelled our reservation because they overbooked. We hv no place to stay. All hotels in the area are booked. Would not recommend! Tom Bodet did not leave the light on for us!! Zero stars

Three adults staying in a room would not give more than one room key Check in was 3 o’clock could not get into room until four Overall hotel smelled really bad dog urine and faeces Not sure how they’re getting away with that kind of condition of hotel Book room months in advance and wanted to give us a different room that did not accommodate

I’ve been recovering from surgery. Came there so I could be close to family & doctor. I was in the room 2 weeks and asked to get the room clean. Took them 4 days to decide. No sheets changed the entire time. I did get fresh towels. No big bags of trash picked up and I had a big bag as I was buying DoorDash etc & they all come with bags and boxes. I was asked if I would take out my things and they would give me a fresh room. I was up at 8:30am per their phone call.& told to wait in room. 5 hours of sitting in the room, at 1:30pm a female came in and doesn’t deserve to be a called a lady. She shthe place is a mess I needed to leave. She said what’s all this stuff because I was to take everything out. I said I did take my things. Those are your sheets & towels etc. they have not been changed in about 3 weeks. She said leave. Not renting to you. I said I have been told that I am getting a new room and if I wasn’t, why am I still here at 1:30pm? She had nothing to say and wasted my time of recuperation and I my kitty was put in a carry case since 9am waiting to move. Animal cruelty by this woman. I’ve talked to my lawyer. Not done here. There was one gentleman that at the front desk and was kind and helpful to me. I wish I knew his name as I wanted to say thank you to him but I assume I don’t b/c I was just out of hospital. He has an accent that sounded Russian to me. Which is a compliment from me. Thank you to that gentleman. My lawyer says we are not through here.
